Stayed here for 1 night arrived early for check in and i was told my room wasnt ready, which was fine. I then checked in just after 3pm to find there was no remote for the tv. I reported this to reception and was never resolved. After i checked in just after 3pm and my room was being prepared 30mins before this, the duvet covers were stained and rubbish was on the floor. See pictures.

This hotel is very very good !
Great welcome from Marsha on reception, she was friendly and professional which set the tone for our stay. Great swimming pool and breakfast, bars were well stocked too.
All staff were friendly and also fun.

Lovely room etc. shower head was too big for the shower - I didn’t want to get my hair wet but there was no way to avoid water. Luckily I had brought a shower cap as none were provided. Also I ran the shower before getting in and do the water spilled out all over the floor. A slightly smaller shower head would fix both problems.

Waited nearly 1hour for a chicken salad, then turned up in a box and looked like it had been shaken.
Breakfast was stone cold, they had to put the food back in the oven to warm it up.

Room was made up for 2 and not the 3 people. Not impressed for the price of the stay but it was resolved in time.

There was no heating in our room and even though we requested a portable heater multiple times, they never provided one. Staff looked like they wanted to do anything but be hospitable.

Super nice place in quiet countryside good for relaxing weekend away. Staff are very nice and accommodating and Pool is amazing, Sauna is also good but was out of order so hopefully this will be working next time we come. Will definitely re visit as this is one of our favourite places. Staff on check in was amazing and they upgraded our room so we had a door looking out on golf course which was super nice.

The staff were fine and sent us off to our room. We got in and found that you could actually write your name in the dust on the glass topped bedside table. Everything else was OK. We went for a bar meal in the sports area, choose curry each and two glasses of wine. The bill was £60 plus. Staggered, we looked at the prices and found that a large red was £15 plus and a medium £11 plus. Way too much to be charging for drinks.
