While in the shower as I am rinsing my hair out, the water turned cold and it kept doing it every 3-4 minutes.
Also, there is no warnings of a step down, not only did I fall, but my 64 year old friend fall down as well. We let the ground keeper know, but nothing was resolved. Book at your own risk.

The shower water temperature kept on changing. It would get cold all of sudden. Also, when it snowed a lot in Red River, it was difficult to drive out from the place. The driveway was too slippery and needed some sand or de icer salt on the ground. Also, if you have lots of luggage, second floor is definitely not recommended. There is only narrow stairway that takes you to the upstairs rooms.

Great place! The owner is not on premises but was very friendly and responsive. The exterior could definitely use some work but these owners said they've only had the place a few years so give them time. Driveway and access to walkways/steps were a bit icy. We managed fine but we saw another family helping an older person who was very unstable on the ice. Maybe throwing down some gravel would help.
Inside, the place was very cozy and well-stocked with plates, dishware, etc. Bed was decent enough. Gave 4/5 eco stars for a Kureig machine (vs an actual coffee maker) but no huge deal there. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a terrific stay at Mountain View. I will stay there again. While there are no restaurants very close, they had a microwave and fridge in our room and that was so convenient. Clay was so very responsive to all my questions prior to arrival. Thank you Clay and Kris!
