We received a very warm welcome here and enjoyed our short stay very much. Room was well-appointed, if small, spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. Dinner was homely and delicious and there was a tasty buffet selection on offer for breakfast. It was lovely to come back in the evening and sit on the terrace with a glass of beer/wine. The Gastehaus is in a peaceful location with spectacular views across the valley to the mountains beyond. There are nice walking routes from the house. It is a bit 'out of town' so easier to get around or into Berchtesgaden with a car. Recommended for a base to explore this part of southern Germany. We would very happily return.
