Lovely clean and spacious rooms a little on the expensive side

We had a very good one night stop here. Very nice clean room and bathroom. Comfy bed. We had a meal in the bar restaurant which was very good. Room service breakfast as we were not that hungry enough for a full English but that was quite sufficient.
Only downside was a step in bath to shower as we are not as young as we were so not so easy getting in and out.!!

Room was really nice. Staff were welcoming. Food was fantastic. We hired a room upstairs for our wedding and everyone really enjoyed their food. The staff went above and beyond for us. The room it self was lovely. The staff set up the table for us which was really helpful.

Everything was great from checking in to checking out. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was spacious and comfortable and hotel had a great ambience.

Welcoming, peaceful and staff were excellent! Highly recommended and Retford is also a lovely central town for easy access to the surrounding areas !

Excellent location beautiful building and wonderful grounds.
The food is great and also the staff are fab.

Charged me £21 for breakfast x 2 as oppose to £8 on the website ..breakfast was nice and staff very attentive.
Couple next door rowing all night and even the tv didn't stop the noise coming in ..I would have expected a night porter /security to check up on the guests and ask them to stop.
Not sure if this hotel provides room for social housing tenants or not...
Shattered in the morning ..should of been a free stay but no apology or anything..bit disappointed to be honest.IF Hotel see this please respond??
