Comfort Inn

For the amount we paid, the room was less than satisfying. The door to our room, once unlocked was difficult to open. It was like a rug was constantly in the way. Our bathroom sink has a crack in it. The toilet was loose and moved every time it was sat on. The white mesh window curtain has a big rip down it and the room smelt like old urine. The water provided in the lobby did not taste good. No amount of lemon could hide the nasty tap water taste. The bed was comfortable to sleep in, the continental breakfast was good and always stocked, the lobby was clean. The desk person was friendly and professional.

Business more vacation friendly hotel. Breakfast was grand and central. Vending easy to notice. Good Comfort Inn brand felt modern bright colors was spacious and ornate. Parking was clean and non packed. Great place to rest or stay long term.

Good place to stay during the week or on the weekend. Rhinelander Wisconsin near to Walmart, quiet lots of vacationers. Spot features vending, gardens, breakfast. Aquatic center with a pool and hot tub. Chairs tables and outdoor seating ago.

Work space with natural and room lighting. Vending and restaurant delivery. Smart hotel in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Walmart and other coffee shops close to the hotel. Large lounge in the pool center that features a indoor pool and spa hot tub.

Excellent Comfort Inn, great walk in rate and offering breakfast accommodations. Vending/Spa/Pool center. High speed wifi and luxury suites are modern with good lighting and lots of mirrors. Bright colors in the room and some off setting colors look good overall.

Clean comfortable and unreasonably low weekly rates. Breakfast was one of the top in the area also features a good view of the gardens. Hotel has a large pool center with a spa hot tub. Rooms have privacy and easy accessibility.

Hotel has good air conditioning modern. Hotel is modern from outside and easy to find, lots of trees fresh air to take in. The hotel has a pool, lounge, vending, hot tub. North Wisconsin a good place to visit any time of year.

This is a difficult review to write. The location of the Comfort Inn is really good and central to most things in Rhinelander and it is a less than 5 minute drive to Walmart to stock up on things for your room. The staff was very accommodating on check-in to allow us to get our room two hours early. We booked the king bed junior suite which was huge and exactly what we wanted. It was spotless with a tiny bit of mold around the tub (pet peeve that’s so easily resolved), but otherwise excellent. Bed was super comfortable - lots of nice, fluffy pillows. Breakfast was good, typical type fare but fresh. Now, the few things that didn’t work well for us. Our room was 225, second floor next to the two-story pool/hot tub atrium. On Sunday morning, we were greeted by a bevy of screaming children and adults enjoying the pool. The sound resonated upward and was clearly audible, even over the air conditioning unit. Even after we got up, it continued until close to check-out time. Monday and Tuesday, there was no noise and when we went down to get breakfast, the pool was unused. Second, and a huge issue, there were NO racks in the bathroom to hang towels. Nothing, no hooks, no towel bars, nothing. We try to be respectful and use our towels more than once but with nowhere to place them, it made it difficult. We resorted to taking hangers out of the closet for trousers and rehanging our used towels back in the closet. I’ve never stayed in a hotel that had no place for you to put your towels, robe, etc. within the bathroom. The ironing board was broken. When I tried to press out a few suitcase crushed shirts, the ironing board tilted sideways and the hot iron rolled off the floor. After several tries, I was able to pop it on a counter to keep it from rolling sideways. When we left for the day, I asked the front staff if we could get another one. It was delivered and left in the living room and the broken one still in the closet as well. Last, the staff was so lovely, friendly and helpful. However, when they take their break to smoke, they do so right outside the front door to the left when you walk in. It’s the same sidewalk you have to use if you have roller bags or, are coming from the major portion of the parking log. I’m allergic to cigarette smoke so held my breath walking through the area. People need breaks and I’m all for their using them in any way they feel is appropriate but perhaps this hotel could give them a place to smoke that’s away from the front door? Even with the issues, it’s a lovely place to stay and the cleanliness of the room was phenomenal. Overall, I would give them 4 stars but 5 stars for the room cleaning staff.

My wife, daughter, and I traveled to Rhinelander Wisconsin for a family matter. We found the Comfort Inn on a moment's notice and our stay was nothing short of spectacular. First, the property and the room was beyond our expectations. The room was extremely comfortable and clean. Most significant, was the customer service. The check-in and checkout staff treated us like family and delivered exceptional customer service. The breakfast attendant was constantly patrolling the area, making sure all breakfast items were in good supply. All were readily available and attended to our every request in a very friendly and professional manner. They are a credit to the Choice Hotel brand as they are a very positive reflection of how hotels should be run.. We will always consider Comfort Inn as our first choice, as no other hotel in the area has ever come close to our experience that we enjoyed at the Comfort Inn in Rhinelander.
