The Ixian Grand & All Suites

I can’t rave about this place enough. Perfect destination if you’re looking for a romantic couples holiday. The staff provided 5 start service throughout our stay and were super helpful. The hotel itself was gorgeous. We paid a little extra for a spa bath and beach view which I would 100% recommend doing. There was a good variety of food - especially good for picky eaters like myself. The drinks were good and the beach/pool cannot be beaten. I saw many people complain about there not being anything within walking distance of the hotel. However it is only a 20 minute taxi journey to the old town costing around 13 euro and is absolutely worth the trip out. I must say this hotel is probably the nicest i’ve ever been to and absolutely worth every penny

From the moment we arrived we were treated well and wowed by the spectacular foyer and welcoming reception area. The check in was smooth and we were very kindly assisted to our room by a very pleasant concierge who graciously declined our offer of a tip, saying that it wasn't needed. We arrived late at night, after the restaurants had closed but they provided sandwiches and drinks to satiate us overnight. The staff were very pleasant and always greeted us with a smile. The all inclusive buffet was extensive and varied, so you could try something different from the available selection each day. (NB: I think if you were staying longer than a week you might find the overall selection repeats and you could feel a little limited). The cocktail were good and plentiful as was the ever smiling service. Our booking in the a-la-carte restaurant was a very pleasant evening indeed. The food was very tasty good quality and elegantly presented. My wife enjoyed the full 'Fabulous' facial and the spa staff were extremely pleasant. Shout out to Evi and Ausra for the exceptional warmth and friendship they have shown to us too. The local buses were easy to navigate to nearby towns or places of interest and there were taxis available for those more specific places. I would certainly recommend this hotel if you would like to kick back and enjoy quality nightly poolside entertainment, a great ambience, beautiful scenery and a great eating and drinking experience.

We have just arrived home from the Ixian Grand and what can I say! It was immaculate and we felt like royalty! All the staff were very kind and nothing was too much trouble at all! We had a swim up room and it was incredible! It was so nice to have the option of having our own pool right at our door! We want to say a special thank you to Maria and Jessica who were the waitresses at the door of the main buffet restaurant! They were there all day everyday and always had a big smile on their faces! They would always ensure that we were happy with our table each day. The buffet restaurant was very good with themed nights but they also had ‘plainer’ foods such as pizzas, chips, pasta and chicken, this seemed to be incase people didn’t like the themed nights and we were very grateful for this! The other restaurants were very very posh! (Something we are not too used to) but I cannot fault them at all all the staff were very frindly and always made sure we didn’t run out of drinks and explaining all the foods for us. The facilities of the hotel were very good with 3 different pools and the beach which was blocked off so it was only the hotel guests that had use to it! There were more than enough sun beds so you don’t have to rush down in the morning to secure one and the seating around the pools were very comfortable!

Amazing hotel and spa....highly recommend...staff so friendly...cleanliness of rooms top class..there is 3 restaurants so you can change it up food wise during your stay...the Mazu resturant's rib eye is amazing. They have loads of deck chairs on beach or near pool so always places. We booked spa for couples massage...Eva and Valentia were amazing and we were so relaxed after it....they have music after dinner by the pool so you can sit out in evening to relax and have few drinks.

Went for 4 nights as a group of 3 girls. We wanted a relaxing holiday. The food for an all inclusive in the main restaurant was the best I've ever had! Really good quality. Snack bar during the day had foods like wraps, cakes and ice cream. Our room (156) was ground floor and right next to the reception. We were woken up by the cleaners every morning between 5.30-7. I did mention this to reception when we checked out but the response was our cleaners never go around at that time of morning, I then showed the receptionist of a video taken at 5.30 with them pushing their trollies. We had no privacy at all as people were constantly walking past, but that didn't bother us too much. We did have one man come up to us whilst we were sat on our balcony saying he was originally put in our room but requested to move due to the noise and privacy. Our room didn't have an iron like stated and the hair dryer wasn't the best, so pack a travel one if you can. The bathroom also has glass panels so is open and you could be on the toilet and see straight into the main lobby. We didn't use the spa as we were put off by the spa team constantly pouncing on us every time we walked past or were sat by the pool. They were a bit too pushy and wouldn't take no for an answer. We never had a problem with getting a sunbed and never felt like we were ontop of anyone else which was nice. Staff would constantly be going around collecting cups and rubbish aswell. Evening entertainment was great! Just unfortunately finished at 10pm which we thought was slightly early. On the Friday they had a rock band during the day by the main pool and they were amazing!! We got a taxi into Rhodes Town which cost €16, which I recommend doing.

Returned last week from this lovely hotel,everything was perfect ,we were made very welcome by the reception staff and our room was ready when we arrived. Our room was on the third floor 313 we booked a deluxe room garden view with spa bath and everything was as shown in the Jet2 brochure.We had a fridge that was supplied with cans of water coke ect which you could pay to get replenished but to be honest they lasted the ten days we were there, being left that large bottle of water everyday was a bonus and that's how all all inclusives should be. The shower was rain shower but there was a power shower adaptor if needed, robes and slippers were supplied. Only gripe was that there was no usb adaptor in the room. The spa bath was fabulous,beds were so comfortable and hardly any noise at night so you did get a good night's sleep. The maids were in and out of the room cleaning to perfection leaving fresh towels brilliant! Only issue we did have was three young girls in the next room who thought they were in Falaraki or somewhere dancing and singing to loud music on the balcony one night at 11.30 pm. The reception team were straight onto my complaint and we're spot on,then after having to come up for a second time he gave them a final warning! It's more relaxing chilled place . The acts were good of a night that moved outside during the days and sometimes there was daytime entertainment by the pool bar. There could of been more vegetables,seafood and potatoes in the food selections in the Restaurant but the temperature was always hot. They had theme nights but I couldn't make out the themes, gyros and wraps by the pool were great. We went to the Greek alcarte which your entitled to one person stay, the food was lovely. Breakfast was great the porridge was a bonus,the chairs inside were very low but you could not sit outside until 7.30 am. Coffee and drinks were served to you by the staff who were attentive but if you sat outside there was scabby cats roaming the restaurant people were stroking, feeding them then going into the restaurant touching the utensils yes it's disgusting! I'm not a cat lover or hater I guess they were there to keep insects or vermin if there was any down. Pool towels were free,you just changed them by small pool sun loungers are padded and so comfortable. The pool was absolutely freezing so I did not venture in. The beach was pebbly with loungers and a jetty that went in the sea. There is a large spar shop down the road from the hotel which was handy, there is a shop in the hotel but things were bit pricey. Spa staff were not pushy they were around the hotel if needed information but otherwise left you alone. We walked to Rhodes old town and back which is bit of a hike but worth it. This was our third visit to Rhodes but it won't be our last we would definitely stay here again maybe in the future.

We went to Aegeo Spas and we had Aggelos and Valentina as our therapist! We couldn’t have anyone better. They were so calm and really followed to how hard we wanted it. Me and my partner had a great time. They used amazing products on us which i ended up purchasing for my skin as i left with a glow. My partner and I did the Ice Queen and the Cretan Massage!

Would highly recommend this hotel, nothing disappointed. The rooms were immaculate , the beds were comfortable and the facilities amazing. The staff were incredible and couldn’t do more to accommodate the guests. Was truly looking forward to an adults only getaway and this didn’t disappoint, peaceful but plenty of evening entertainment. The food was good as you would expect from an all inclusive but with brilliant service. There have been many comments written about the spa and the hard sell however it’s well worth it and I would highly recommend you book yourself in for at least one of their treatments. Eva gave me a great massage and I walked out feeling like a different woman. I’d highly recommend you bag yourself a sun bed and sip a zombie or two whilst soaking up the beautiful Greek sun.
