We are two families with kids. We have been visiting Greece for the last 15 years. This was the WORST accommodation we have ever had. Very badly maintained property. Most of the amenities in the studios were broken as the door handle, the hair dryer, plates, some bulbs of the lamps were burned out, the hanger of the shower was broken. Bed sheets and towels were washed but stained. The kids' bed rail was broken and the child could fall from a height of 2 meters on the floor. For our four day stay nobody came to clean the studios. We had Italian family neighbors - they told me that they cleaned the studio themselves for the whole week!!! The owner and manager Antonios was extremely rude. He said he had 40 studios in total and was too busy to fix everything and if we didn't like it - we were free to leave. Antonios gives false and inaccurate information about the studios and says that the beach is 20 meters away/actually 200m/, there is fruit basket, water, drinks, snacks in the studios/actually 3 croissants for 4 people/, the studios have a sea view /actually partial sea view for 3-4 studios/, there is a microwave oven, iron, beach towels/actually missing or broken/. We had booked a 14 day stay. Thank God we had only paid a deposit and we left these awful studios and terrible owner.

We had planned 4 nights but added another two. Stegna is well worth a visit with some excellent traditional greek restaurants. The Mediteranneo is well located at far end of the village with the beach across the road. The accommodation is very good value and everything is close at hand

Nice place to stay Stegna, with a beautiful sandy beach. The residence Meditarraneo is simple, but very clean and comfortable. Antonios, the manager, is a nice and helpful person. The residence has a supermarket with fresh bread and fruits. Walking distance from the beach with sunbeds and umbrellas and from all the restaurants/tavernas. Great for families.

Ero d’accordo con Antonios, il proprietario, che mi avrebbe fatto trovare un auto all’ aeroporto ed invece non c’era nulla; dopo aver aspettato due ore senza avere risposta nonostante messaggi e telefonate ho dovuto prendere un taxi (52,00 euro!!) per Stegna. Arrivata lì non c’era nessuno allla reception, nessuno sapeva niente; grazie al cielo avevo un’amica che abita a Rodi e che conosce il proprietario, il quale ha mandato sua sorella dopo 2 ore ad accogliermi. Ho chiesto il rimborso del taxi ma ha fatto finta di niente e ha dire il vero non hanno neanche chiesto scusa. Il tutto per stare in una struttura piccola, con un materasso di molle alto 10 cm, la doccia rotta, il wi fi inesistente e la tv che prende solo 1 canale italiano. Pessima struttura, gestori assurdi

Ottima struttura, eravamo in 5 , spazi piccoli ma funzionali, cambio frequente di asciugamani e lenzuola, unico problema le difficoltà di scarico del WC risolto abbastanza rapidamente da Antonios. Molto gentile il personale

L'hotel mediterraneo è in realtà composto da due strutture separate, di cui una chiamata apartments. Quest'ultima è di più recente realizzazione e sicuramente più confortevole perchè gli appartamenti sono spaziosi ed affacciano su una grande terrazza. Alcuni di essi sono monolocali con comodo letto matrimoniale e due letti a castello (che non ingombrano la stanza perchè posizionati in un angolo), altri sono bilocali per famiglie più numerose. Tutti dotati di cucinino e servizi indipendenti. La proprietaria, Maria, molto disponibile ed affettuosa, parla benissimo l'italiano e ci ha molto aiutato in occasione di un problema di salute che ha afflitto una nostra amica durante il soggiorno. La località di Stegna comprende una spiaggia di sabbia attrezzata con ombrelloni, lettini e docce molto economici (5 euro al giorno) ed è possibile cenare o pranzare in uno dei numerosi locali fronte mare esistenti oppure preparare un pranzetto in camera perche fornita di tutto il necessario. Inoltre si trova strategicamente al centro dell'isola e, da lì, è possibile effettuare escursioni sia verso il sud (Lindos, Prassonissi, etc.) o verso il nord (Rodi, Butterfly Valley, etc.). Lo consiglio sicuramente e ritorneremo presso Mediterraneo Apartments sperando di trovare libera la medesima camera.
