Blue Sky City Beach Hotel

What can I say about this hotel ,,Was absolutely perfect for us .We only went for bed& breakfast as we like to go out & try the local food Our room overlooked the sea ,was lovely & clean & lovely to sit on our balcony & watch the world go by while enjoying a morning coffee ,Was great we had a fridge in the room so we could chill drinks for our travels the next day Lovely variety for breakfast & something different everyday Couldn’t fault the staff they did everything to make you welcome If I had to grumble it was due to no drawers so had to keep stuff in the suitcase like underwear But while having terrific grandchildren it was lovely to be guests of a child free hotel Keep up the good work & one day we will return Thank you for looking after us & making our stay very memorable Highly recommend

Outstanding hotel from the second you arrive, the two ladies on reception were professional helpful and engaging. Once in the room we were delighted. Beds are super comfortable, shower is amazing. The lovely lady that cleaned our room was one of the hardest workers you will see, even on a Sunday. We were bed & breakfast- the breakfast was excellent- lots to choose from. The location of the hotel could not be any better! You are opposite the beach, more restaurants and bars - than you could try in a year (we ate out everywhere and the food was delicious home cooked - we never had anything that wasn’t scrumptious) . If you take a left from the hotel walk along the beautiful beach you will come across a cave that has been turned into a church, well worth a look. If you turn right you can take the long way round to the old town/ medieval city - with so much history and culture it will amaze you. Or alternatively it’s a 5/10 minute walk straight behind the hotel. Lastly we would like to say a big thank you to Michael the hotel customers manager, you cannot walk away from this man without a smile on your face, he is delightful

Even though I'm a member since 2012, this is the first time I wanted to write something, always used app for the information and never before had a Wow factor about the hotel I was staying. Let's start with basics - hotel is in great place, just a cross the beach with sunbeds and parasols, so if you don't want to go anywhere else you are set. Famous Eli beach is just 10 minutes by slow walk along a gorgeous sea side. City center 15 minutes, again by slow walk. Hotel is very very clean, everything was recently renewed and kept in perfect condition. I was traveling solo, got a double room, which was very specious, and for me very very important (I have a bad back) with big and comfortable bed. AC was working perfectly, very quiet, you can sleep like a baby. Bathroom big and was cleaned every day. Sheets and towels were changed regularly. One day I cut my leg and left just a little blood stain on my sheet and it was really small, and even though I've got fresh ones the day before I've got new set again. Internet is good and stable and even I could stream later in the evening. I didn't took any photo of the whole dinning room, just examples of the food, but there were variety of food, so anyone can find something for themselves (I'm very picky and I eat like a queen there) , different types of meet, vegetables, salads, cheeses, sweets.... Also, at the entrance of the hotel there is a little store, open until 10PM, packed with anything you need, from water to sweets to things you need for the beach. And little coffee shop with coffee to go, donuts and similar things. I haven't used the pool (you don't come to Rhodes to use the pool), but it was cleaned every day (you can see the people doing it). Also there were some entertainment couple of nights (live Greek music and DJ). Very important is this hotel is Adults only, for me that was a great plus, there are no high notes, crying and kicking during mealsFor the safety box you just leave a deposit which is return to you on the exit. Normally hotels in Greece charge you for the usage of the safety box. So this hotel checked all the marks for me if we talk about being comfortable and clean But very important thing that makes this hotel the one I will always choose (this was not my first time in Rhodes) are the people. I've add pictures with them, I want to acknowledge them in this way. They are not just friendly (people in Greece are very friendly anyway), but these people are showing you that they really care how are you, what you need, solve any problems that you maybe have (I was present couple of times for some injuries and other issues), plates with food were never empty, you don't need to wait for anything, you get really spoiled here by the people who are working there. So this is my shout-out to Angela (works at the reception, unbelievable nice and pleasant creature, I was always telling her that if I had her patience I would be on top of my business world), George (my go to guy for any direction

this was our second visit to the blue sky and as always the service from staff and management was second to none very helpful ,polite, and most of all always with a smile .the rooms have been upgraded to deluxe rooms now and are very clean cleaners come in every day .We had seaview rooms on both visits and come equipt with tea/coffee ,kettle and a mini fridge walk in shower w/c sink cupboards for storage and clothes rail there are safes in all the rooms we never needed it . The bar area is a plesant place just tosit and have a drink aswell as bar snacks which are reasonable prices so enjoy your stay there we certainly did.

I chose this hotel because of its location - by the windy beach, near restaurants and bars and 10 mins walk to the old town. It worked out perfectly. This is a modern hotel with guests from a variety of countries and the breakfast buffet reflects that. This suited us but surprised one old couple who complained about the lack of Irish sausages! The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a deluxe room with a sea view. The rooms were clean and spacious. Take hangers as there aren't many. My husband used the gym and found it well equipped and air conditioned. There aren't many sunbeds and they do fill up early. Avoid the rush and walk along the seafront to the Scandi bar. They have free sunbeds on the beach and you just need to buy a coffee or a couple of drinks. They're reasonably priced and their cocktails are good.

We stopped at the blue sky hotel for 11 nights. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with friendly helpful staff , who couldn’t do enough for us. We paid a little extra and had the deluxe room with sea view. The room was lovely and modern . It was very clean with maid service everyday. The view from the balcony was amazing. Beautiful sunsets and the outline of turkey in the distance. There was a very busy main road in front of the hotel, but once your door was closed you couldn’t hear anything. We chose bed breakfast and evening meal. There was always a good variety of different dishes to choose from . Again staff so welcoming . Unfortunately I did end up having to have a trip to the doctors. When the staff found out I was unwell , the manager Michael took my husband to all the staff in the restaurant and told them what ever he needed he was to have as his wife was poorly . Food was brought to my room. The next day staff all asked how I was feeling . The cleanness of the hotel was good with all areas being maintained to a high standard. The pool area has limited sun beds to the size of the hotel. However the beach is across the road. It is stoney but nothing a pair of beach shoes won’t rectify . There is a better beach 10 minutes walk away. Hop on and hop off bus is outside the hotel . It will take about 20 minutes to walk to the old town.

A FABULOUS HOTEL TO STAY My Wife & myself stayed at the Blue Sky Hotel, Rhodes, in the last 2 weeks of October '23. We were switched to this hotel, because our allocated hotel could not provide the accommodation we required as it was closing early (end of Season) And were we glad we were switched The Hotel, the Management, the staff were just fabulous...... We had a 4th Floor, Sea View Room with panoramic uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean with the most astonishing sunsets every night. The room was spacious, contemporary furnishings, stylish bathroom & shower, very comfortable large bed with the fridge and the air conditioning working (which we find to be rare nowadays) which reflected the whole style of the hotel which was clean, contemporary styles and well managed in fact the management & staff really made this holiday one of the best holidays we have had We were made so welcome by the whole Hotel stall from the General Mgr. down to the room cleaner who was an absolute delight to see every day with the biggest smile & greeting and of course our obligatory "Greek word for the day" what a treasure she was The Bar staff and in particular the Restaurant Staff were exceptional, so attentive, so friendly, anything we wanted was attended to as we also noted with other guests at the hotel, the stall friendliness was noted by all, nothing was too much trouble. The reception staff were of the same 'ilke' very helpful very friendly and created a great atmosphere we just felt so comfortable at the hotel Michaël the General Mgr. was a delightful man with an engaging personality who had a very active/presence in the hotel with his attentiveness to all the guests, we certainly enjoyed his encounters with ourselves, remarkable memory for guests names etc. we were very impressed Staff to note: George the Restaurant Mgr. with his knowledge of wines and professional service, was impressive, the personal service from the floor staff was so friendly and proficient it made every meal time a pleasurable event. Special mention to the Maître d (Voula) she had the biggest smile, always took her time to ask about our day and was exceptionally pleasant in the way she interacted with us and other hotel guests, again a very engaging young lady perfectly placed to be the Maître d. All in all a fabulous holiday for my wife and myself and I can strongly recommend this Hotel which played a major part of our experience during our stay. The hotel itself is perfectly placed to access the Old Town, The Harbour/Port and the New Town all within easy walking distance (or Taxi for the trip back ha!) What a lovely break my husband and I had. The hotel had a lovely decor... scandi, and very clean. All staff worked really hard and were very welcoming, under the charge of lovely Michael. The hotel was gearing down for their winter closing but were still attentive to the last 5 guests. It is well situated for a walk to the town and beach. We intend to make this our go to place to stay when returning to Rhodes

Good location & on the whole a nice hotel. Staff at the hotel were lovely & rooms were well serviced everyday. However the pool area is dirty. The pool is dirty & all sides of the pool troughs are thick with black slime. Nobody cleans or brushes it away. Full responsibility sits with the manager who clearly thinks that it us acceptable to have holiday makers sit around the focal point of the pool looking at the black sludge. Black sludge does not just appear over a few days. I've seen other posts mention it too. The hot breakfast options are odd. Sweetcorn & peas, tomatoes with grated cheese, sliced up hotdog & boiled ham. Clearly the leftovers from the previous evening. Continental options are better. I would go again if Jet2.com guaranteed that the black pool slime was cleaned away.
