Afandou Beach

Resort is very nice with all sports opportunities but our stuff went missing from our room. Someone stole our clothes, parfumes and even swiss armyknive from our room. No one did single thing to solve this. Same cleaner still continued to clean the room after complaining

Just came home from Rhodes, yesterday morning and we have enjoyed every minute of our stay at Levante - Powered by Playitas. Breakfast was awesome, there was a wide selection of everything and the staff was really friendly and service oriented. During the daytime we used a lot of the sport facilities and every class was great. Eventhough we used the same classes more than once, there was a flexible program and different instructors during the week, making it really great. The bike center is really great, the staff is so cool, relaxed and friendly but also very professional. That goes for the entire staff we only met smiling, friendly and service oriented people. Surely not the last time we go to Levante. Only issue for us is that the nearest town is 1.5 km. away so for dining and shopping you need to walk or borrow a bike. But we could have decided to book all inclusive instead. All in all our deepest respect and acknowledgement, this is a great hotel and the staff makes all the difference.

Second time at the Levante through Neilson and if anything it has got even better. The service throughout the resort was great, especially from the restaurant staff. Lots to do as well with great tennis courts and a well stocked gym, along with all the waterfront activities. The pools were all clean and well maintained so you could always find a nice spot to lay down in the sun. There is a large Scandinavian presence there which is brilliant - it gives the whole resort a chilled out and family friendly feel. Highly recommended

Great area. Nice pool and lovely beach. Very good training opportunities for both personal training and group training. Rich buffet with varied contents of both hot and cold dishes. We generally experience good service and special service from Marina in the restaurant, she helps with what we need, is fast and reliable, spreads a good a**osphere and has a good mood. She also suggests food and wine combinations that go well together. A fantastic stay so far.

It all started at the check in. They don't tell you a thing. I have never before stayed in such hotel which doesn't welcome you and tell where everything is and how all inclusive works and how everything is open. Sport variety is great is maybe the only good thing. Although many of those are booked and it is not possible to get the class. And if it is hot they don't have all classes. We traveled with family, we stayed in two rooms. Extra beds in double rooms are terrible. They are not suitable for adults. Cleaning is poor, general spaces (pool area) they didn't clean at all. Food is poor. To vegetarian diet there is no protein what so ever. Just junk food. Hotel really doesn't have real Greek goat milk feta. Gluten and dairy free diet in this hotel is really difficult and variety poor. There is not any other restaurants near by. Sunbeds. People serve the sunbeds before 7 am and have their towels there even if they doesn't use the sunbed all day. There is not enough sunbeds.

The good experience starts with the reception. Already there we got the feeling that the people working here want you to enjoy your stay. We have been here twice, one time having a room with a separate bedroom for our teenager, the next time only as a couple. Both times we were given nice and well kept rooms, with everything working as it should, nice and clean, and with comfy beds. Plenty of closet space for both our stuff and the suitcases, so it is easy to keep the room nice and reasonably tidy during the stay. Bathroom clean, spacy enough and in good condition in all ways. No minibar, but a fridge to make sure you have cold beverages available. The breakfast is good, offering a good selection of everything, including made to order omelettes, which is made by a nice helpful lady greeting us with a smile every morning. Please note; we have not eaten in the main restaurant for lunch, and not for dinner. We simply solve that food issue by always renting a car at the airport, and we enjoy going somewhere else for lunch or dinner. We tried the snack-bar by the pool for lunch once, and that was a bad experience. Maybe the waiter was the only bad mood person in the area, they wanted us to sign the bill before we got the food, which was both bad and expensive. Probably this is adjusted to an expectation of guests chosing all inclusive, which we did not, and never will, so people can order and toss away whatever amounts of food they want. The only bad experience at the resort. But the icing on the cake on this hotel is beyond any doubt the huge offer of sports related activities. It is possible to try a lot of sports without additional expenses, with coaches facilitating it in a fun and engaging way. Cycling, Cross-fit, aerobic-style, stretching, yoga, water-gym, padel tennis, tennis. The gym is well equipped. Cycling can be done with guided tours, or you can just borrow the bike (several types) and make your own route in you own pace. Our family are very fond of racket sports, and have enjoyed daily lessons with good coaches in both tennis and padel tennis during our stays. Remember to sign up early the day before. The resort also has a number of great pools, and if you like to use swimming as a way to work out, a separate pool is designated for that use. There are also two "general availability" pools, a "quiet zone"-pool, a separate kids pool, as well as an indoor pool. Going to the beach, you'll find SUP-boards and kayaks which you can use free of charge, and for a charge you can get waterski training, with really good instructors or rent a sailing boat. The water is nice and clean, but it is highly recommended to bring some bathing shoes, becase it is NOT a soft sandy beach, - it is small stones, which at least my feet don't like that much. If you are like us, and like to see stuff outside of the resort, note that there's not so much going on in close walking distance. Πραγματικά είναι ένα από τα καλύτερα ξενοδοχεία που έχω επισκεφτεί ποτέ ! Τα κοκτέιλ στο snack bar ήταν φοβερά και ακόμα πιο τέλειο ήταν το φαγητό στο εστιατόριο τους! Η σεφ αξιαγάπητη όπως και όλο το προσωπικό ! Σίγουρα θα είναι μια από τις επιλογές μας ξανά
