We booked our reservations in February for a wedding in town. We received a call on Saturday morning that there was only 1 of 2 rooms available due to a toilet issue. My parents had to stay at the hotel and we had to find another hotel in the area. I thought the hotel would have offered to find us another room in the area. They did not offer so we had to find our own hotel which cost us more money. They called us later on that evening to let us know there was a cancellation. It was too late at the point as we already checked in at the other hotel.

It was a clean hotel.. beds were comfortable.. breakfast was fair.. price was reasonable.. no swimming pool!

My stay here was excellent. One of the front desk workers, Char, was absolutely amazing!!! She got the ac turned on in my room when she knew I would be checking in soon and she offered multiple times to help me carry my luggage. Great customer service is hard to find these days, but Char knocked it out of the park!!

The amount this place charges isn’t worth it no maid services insufficient toiletries toilet paper bad breakfast the only nice thing was the location this place is very outdated and needs a good cleaning

The rooms are smelly. The linens are stained. The fitness center is a joke. The breakfast is not appealing at all. They reuse the card for the rooms which is fine but the paper that holds the card was partially broken. It leaves you wondering in what other aspects they cut more corners. The fitness center is also used as warehouse for linens and the hotel vaccums.

We have stayed at this location (Richmond IL) a number of times. Now that our home has been completed, it may not be as often, but we will recommend to those who might ask. Staff has always been very pleasant and helpful. Housekeeping (pleasantly) surprised us with a visit to replace our used towels and to make up the bed.

This hotel needs help, old furniture, old towels, no patio, lobby area is pitiful horrible bathroom, I could hear people coming and going thru out the night walls are paper thin. Only positive thing is it’s close to town

Stayed here for family wedding in Lake Geneva and paid less than half of what the venue wanted. Sure, amenities aren’t as elaborate, but with all the wedding activities we had no time to use them. This Baymont was clean and served our needs for a comfy bed and hot shower. Staff is friendly. Breakfast was typical fare.
