Good location,standard services,room clean,interior of hotel is dark(( just eat,sleep and don’t “head up”!

The hotel is conveniently located 20 min walk from the old city, just in the center of Riga with a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. The gym in the hotel has stunning view to the city , well equipped and you can access it with your room card at your convenience. Nice European breakfast. The stuff is very well trained, attentive and accomodating,

Great location for all of the Riga sights. Friendly, efficient hotel staff. Being part of the Marriott chain you know what to expect and this place doesn’t disappoint. I could be picky and say the only issue I find is that because the product is so generic you could really be anywhere in the world, I know an effort has been made to add some Latvian art/sculpture but it still feels a bit sterile somehow. The room was large with a separate lounge area/business space which fortunately for this trip I didn’t need, good to know it’s there. WiFi connection good. The room was clean but I will say the areas not immediately obvious did need some attention, particularly the floor area around the bed.
