Everything would have been 5 stars except for the rudeness of boy at the front desk the morning I left. The coffee was gone when I went to get a cup at 4am (the airport shuttle had just left with a group of people). I told him it was empty and he said, "I would have to make another pot of coffee. There's tea if you want it." Gee thanks but no thanks.

Great spot if you need to be near the airport but want a little Costa Rican character. Shocking how cute it is behind the gate. And great breakfast!

Super convenient when arriving on a late flight. Lovely staff, clean and comfortable room. Didn’t try the pool but it looked great. Tasty breakfast in a lovely setting. Close to a busy road and under the flight path but once in my room I wasn’t disturbed by either.
I asked for advice on getting a public bus… which turned out was incorrect as I’d been directed to the wrong bus station. So maybe check that out for yourself!

The beds were absolutely terrible. Due to the location it is very noisy from the airport but we could also hear other guests through out the sleepless night. Very clean though.

We landed late at SJO airport. Hotel Mango was a reasonably priced, close location. This property was clean, but SO LOUD. You are right on a main thoroughfare. Additionally, they have free shuttle TO the airport, but no shuttle for pickup FROM the airport. That said, when you get off the airplane you have to deal with the chaos of using a taxi for about $10USD to drive you one mile give or take. If I had to do it over again, I'd probably choose a property that had a shuttle service. One less thing to have to deal with when you arrive late at night.

Very nice! I was able to enjoy the pool while my husband relaxed in the shade. The cleaning ladies were great, getting me a pool towel and a blanket later when I was cold.

Very helpful staff, very courteous. A small quaint hotel near the airport. Yes you hear the planes but you get over it.

We arrived around 11:00 pm and we were received with courtesy and important information about the area. There’s a Denny’s within walking distance that’s open 24/7. Delicious breakfast by the pool.

Such a cute and quaint hotel! The staff was very attentive and accommodating. Very nice rooms with comfortable beds and lovely shower. We really enjoyed sitting in the cabana-style rooms off the pool area in the evening.
The planes are loud overhead which is distracting when having dinner at the in-house restaurant but, if you play white noise from an app on your phone, they don’t disturb your sleep. That’s to be expected as a worthwhile trade-off for being right next to the airport for an early flight. The complimentary airport shuttle topped off a great overnight stay.
