Hotel Uran

Very close to Cerro Chirripó entrance. The cabinas are very nice, but too far from the main hotel and we only could bring our car after we asked.

Was a bit hard to fine..better signage would be beneficial. Closest hotel to Cero Chirripo. Host was WONDERFUL..great communication. Accommodations are basic but the cabins have refrig/microwave. CLEAN and comfortable.

The cabin is located in a nice quiet area, with beautiful gardens.

Great location. Property is quite run down and not the cleanest but it serves its purpose.

Perfect place to stay if you are headed to hike Cerro Chirripo. Hotel owner and staff were great and very accommodating. Food was great and they will even get your meals ready the day prior for a long day of hiking. Great experience

Good hotel with decent priced rooms and space for backpackers to spread out. Decent no frills backpacker kitchen fare. No ac but no need for it at this altitude. Kitchens in room so can cook if feeling like it The road to get here is a little rough but doable. Closest location to start of Cerro Chirripo trail which of course is the main reason to stay. They have rooms higher up on a back trail with an amazing manicured yard and flowers and a mountain raising up in the background. I would ask for one of those rooms ( on the trail above Mariposa lodge which is next door )

El 14 de junio me hospedé en este lugar, y considero que cuando todos nos hospedamos en un lugar es porque nos aseguran q el lugar es responsable y así nos dicen cuando llegamos con tal de pagar pero este lugar no es seguro, al regresar de mi caminata del Chirripó (cargada de emociones ) me encuentro con que mi vehículo esta chocado, inmediatamente reporto la situación y los empleados del hotel no me daban importancia, tampoco me querían comunicar con el administrador o dueño y éste Señor, cuando los empleados lo llamaban pues nunca me dio la cara, ni me quiso atender y lo que este señor Rohel Romero indico es que iba a revisar las cámaras para darme una respuesta (yo debía irme porque ya estaba contra tiempo para retirar mis cosas en el SINAC) y me tocaba un viaje de 4 horas de regreso a San José, triste y cansada viendo mi viaje arruinado me regrese. hoy desp de una semana y de seguir insistiendo por una respuesta me indican que no hay un video que evidencie el daño, no me quieren enviar los videos y por ende no se quieren hacer responsables, evadiendo con teorías que los daños no fueron en el hotel. No deje mi carro en las manos de estas personas para encontrarme con esta situación, no es justo pagar para no estar segura, esta Gente no es seria y tengan cuidado porque no están seguros en este lugar.
