If you are going to Mayo Clinic, there is no better place to stay then Kahler Grand! It is connected to the clinic by the subway or a simple walk across the street. The rooms are clean, updated & very comfortable. Parking is also convenient & connected to the hotel. Restaurants are within the hotel, subway system or a short walk. Staff are always friendly, helpful & kind! Mayo wheelchairs are available for use ( to & from the clinic & in the hotel) if needed. There is a swimming pool & workout area also.

The water in the shower was just above lukewarm - after asking 5 (five) times to desk staff for a fix. Pool was closed every day but one of our stay. Only one chair in room to sit in, so asked for second chair and was promised one….never delivered. Back stairway from pool area was extremely filthy. Very, very disappointed.

The best thing about this hotel is the location if you have Mayo Clinic appointments. No hotel other than the Marriott is more convenient.

This property is very convenient to the Mayo Clinic. However, it is older and "well-loved," not very well maintained. The heat in the room stayed 8-10 degrees above the thermostat setting, and the kind maintenance provider could not determine what was wrong. That provider did bring a fan though which was very helpful. Overall, the hotel is not worth the price, except for convenience to the Mayo Clinic.

Valet staff was excellent other than that the rest of the staff we had to request items 2-3 times before we actually got clean towels etc. they were also very unhelpful room was like a sauna repair guy said that’s just how it was.

My room was at least to my expectations. It room was clean and well equipped. The queen bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room and bath areas were bigger than I expected.
I did not hear any neighbor noise. The view was not great, but that's not what I was there for.

We are here for medical appointments. Can’t say enough good things about the flexibility of the staff, making our stay fit our appointments. Very positive experience.

I have stayed here many times. This time i stayed two nights and had to have maintenence in my room both nights.
The furst night my phone didnt work and my furnace was on ac and ut was 58 degrees in my room. I did nit have an option to change it to heat.
The maintenance man came and got it on furnace. I set it for 66 degrees as i am a cardiav patient and cannot tolerate heat.
It would nit stop warming up the room, and when i git back from Mayo Clinic, it was 74 degrees and getting warmer. Another maintenance man was sent to my room and was able to fix it so it stayed at the temp it was set on.
The majority of my time there, the room was either freezing or very warm.
I expected better with the fee i paid.
I have more appointments and a surgery scheduled and am nit sure i will risk that issue again by staying at the Kahler, even though it is my hotel of choice in Rochester.
