I really enjoyed my stay at Chateau de Madieres. It really is a marvellous chateau nestled in a beautiful valley and I arrived there after on of the most amazing and dramatic drives through the Cevennes. It was very quiet and peaceful when I was there, but the dinner was lovingly prepared by the chef and was excellent, as was breakfast the next morning. The chateau and its staff (thank you Agata) are wonderful and, along with the surrounding area, definitely worth your visit.

Amazing setting above the gorge surrounded by mountains, historic 12th/16th century chateau plus nice pool etc. Very comfortable rooms, and very helpful friendly staff. Good value dinner, we ordered one of the better bottles of wine but found it at 15% too heavy. I asked politely to order something else and of course offered to pay for both, but the sommelier replaced the bottle with something much more to our taste and di not charge, very kind. Lovely stay, sadly only 1 night as they were full up the next day.

Excellent séjour dans ce chateau rénové avec soin. Un cadre magnifique au calme pour se ressourcer. N'hesitez pas nous plus à reserver votre repas du soir. La petite salle de repas donnant avec vue sur les montagnes a beaucoup de charme et le repas concocté par une cheffe délicieux. Les produits locaux sont favorisés. Enfin un accueil personnalisé, on vous accompagne jusqu'à votre chambre. Le café et le thé sont gratuits également. Si vous avez le temps n'oubliez pas à vous rendre au cirque de Navacelles la vue est impressionnante.

4 nuits de vie de château avec ma fille. Merci à toute l'équipe pour l'accueil chaleureux, tout était parfait de la chambre de princesses :) aux délicieux dîners. Et l'environnement est magnifique, les randonnées nous ont permis une totale déconnexion ! Nous reviendrons (pour pouvoir profiter de la piscine avec des températures plus chaudes !).

C'est un lieu superbe,calme,pittoresque et très bien entretenu et fleuri ! Séjour très agréable ou nous avons été si bien recus ,ou nous y avons divinement mangé aussi bien le petit dejeuner que le diner ! Les chambres sont magnifiques et nous y dormons confortablement. Tout est décoré avec beaucoup de gout sachant allier le moderne et l'ancien. Je ne peux que recommander cet endroit inoubliable situé au sein d'une Merveilleuse nature proche des plus beaux villages de France.

Un château de caractère dans un paysage escarpé. Le confort intérieur et le soin apporté aux hôtes sont appréciables après une belle ballade dans les causses. Mention spéciale pour la cuisine proposée par une cheffe qui sait trouver les bons produits venant de producteurs du coin, c'est vraiment agréable de faire des découvertes culinaires. L'espace de la piscine est un véritable écrin.

Arrivée par une route un peu tortueuse , bonne surprise il y a des prises pour la voiture électrique. 2 chargeurs rapide seulement mais c est déjà bien. Accueil super sympa , visite du domaine , de la chambre. Et la on commence un peu à avoir froid ..chauffage laborieux à démarrer. Dîner sur place, excellente surprise cuisinière au petits soins cuisine simple mais maîtrisée avec des produits locaux. Carte des vins très abordable. Petits déjeuner dans la même ligne , produits régionaux , super bon miel du château. Bien sûr j allais oublié ! Le cadre ! Mais ça vous avez déjà du le voir sur les photos !

Très belle endroit là réalité dépasse les photos.. Très joli château avec beaucoup de services ... Beaucoup d attentions vis à vis des clients Excellente table d hôte...un oasis de bien être au milieu d un site naturel impressionnant.... Très jolie piscine pour se rafraîchir
