Avoid this place! Do not book or even look at this place. We made a booking and paid for the room a month in advanced. When we arrived to the property the staff (Very unfriendly and rude) said she had no reservation and was fully booked. She was super rude and left out of the building. She said she was going to hand me an email saying she had emailed all travel agencies last night to contact me but never came down again nor emailed me. It was an unpleasant experience and hope this place gets shut down soon due to all the bad reviews. I gave it a chance ignoring all the bad reviews and had to live through it. Do not book this place if you want to have a worry free trip as you will find yourself with nowhere to stay!

Horrible, horrible experience! I'm still shocked at how we were treated at this place! The creature at the reception is rude, lying, uneducated and plain... let's say, not smart. Don't stay there if you don't want to ruin your trip

My colleague and I booked two rooms, a deluxe double and a triple, for a one-night stay for business reasons. We arrived at the hotel and the woman at the reception told us 'Ah but there are two of you! The rooms are not ready yet, you can leave your luggage and everything will be ready in an hour'. We walked around in the sun for an hour and when we got back we were only given one room. We were told that they have made a mistake, that they had someone waiting to go to the hospital that could not leave the other room and there was only one room available. My colleague and I track down the financial manager of our company and ask what we should have do. The lady from Candia Rooms told us that she wanted to talk to him and we asked her for a moment of privacy so we could figure out what to do. We had decided to stay but then waited between half an hour and three quarters of an hour for the lady to show up. We knocked on the front door and I was answered by an unfriendly gentleman who basically said "what do you want?" in a rude and threatening manner. This was twice. The lady reappeared and asked us what we wanted, at which point we asked for a full refund for non-compliance of the booking. The lady then, realising that my colleague was Ukrainian, called her a Nazi simply because she told her that we wanted our money back for the full booking and then approached me saying that Putin was doing the right thing in waging war on Ukraine. I told her that she was insulting my colleague and that she wasn't allowed to say such bad things. She unplugged my mobile phone, which I was charging at the time because the battery was low for the struggling under the sun, saying that I was stealing her electricity. She continued and we called Booking to ask for a full refund and to report the lack of politeness, the mockery, but above all the xenophobia of those running the establishment. We were just lucky to find another accommodation at such short notice. Keep away from it.

Tornati sempre qui a Candia Rooms! Davvero colazione con caffè proprio ottimo eccellenza è educazione al personale pronto a seguirci su ogni nostra richiesta grazie! Abbiamo seguito il consiglio della ragazza che ci ha dato le indicazioni ben precisi dove si poteva fare un aperitivo la sera.

«Comfort della stanza perfetto: materasso tra i migliori mai provati e insonorizzazione ottima. Una stupenda piccola terrazza per fare colazione.» Dovrò ringraziare lo staff disponibile e molto attento alle nostre domande. Proprio a due passi dai musei vaticani e piazza San Pietro. Con la metro Ottaviano siamo arrivati in poco tempo. Grazie

Son stato bene grazie Personale gentile e molto cordiale siamo stati in Candia rooms Vatican quest'estate per un concorso. Colazione abbondante, servizio e ordine tranquillità. Il caldo terribile ma camera fresca con la macchina caffè in camera... Vaticano proprio accanto metropolitana a due passi mercato sta quasi di fronte ... Grazie

Personale di reception molto accogliente e gentile. La ragazza è davvero eccezionale. Il riscaldamento controllabile era davvero perfetto. Trovo rapporto qualità prezzo molto conveniente sia per chi viaggia come noi spesso a Roma perché sono vicinissimi dalla metropolitana Ottaviano S. Pietro e ristoranti farmacia proprio su via Candia Consigliassimo per chi cerca centro e qualità. Grazie

Ho fatto una prenotazione nonostante viste le ricezione dovuto al mio buget e mi sono trovato bene anche perché la gentilezza del personale e stata molto accogliente e pronta ad assistere ad ogni mia esigenza. Colazione abbondante con tost al formaggio e prosciutto cotto cappuccino come al bar e soprattutto mi sono meravigliato per i cornetti caldi appena sfornati... Pulizia e manutenzione di Candia Rooms e stata esagerata quello che sentivo profumo di pulito appena entrati. Non saprei per un bel and breakfast la cosa migliore... Abbiamo lasciati i bagagli avevamo un appuntamento con la guida quindi eravamo di fretta. Grazie mille e a presto!

I due gestori della struttura (pare siano cugini) sono stati gentili solo di apparenza.. lui si è mostrato cafone ed arrogante, attribuendo delle offese senza alcun motivo.. lei tanto la gentile ma poi da dietro ha fatto altro.. abbiamo avuto un problema con la doccia.. non c’è abbastanza pendenza (ogni tanto le tubazioni vanno anche pulite) così che l’acqua è fuoriuscita dalla doccia.. avvertita la struttura per questo disagio, siamo stati definiti persone non normali.. va be.. leggendo altre recensioni, più di uno si lamenta del bagno.. che si allaga in pochi secondi.. per non parlare della presenza di umidità.. telecomando per attivare il deumidificatore non c’era, nonostante fosse un servizio della struttura.. sinceramente non la consiglierei a nessuno.. unico punto buono la posizione, vicino i musei vaticani e alla fermata della metro Ottaviano..
