Beautiful, quaint 3rd floor hotel in the heart of Rome. Within 20 minutes walking distance to the Colosseum, Pantheon, Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, Termini station. Wonderful people, great place.

The 4 staff members at Hotel Oceania were so helpful to us. They gave us suggestions and recommendations for our travel and excursions. They paid attention to details and provided accommodations to our activity schedule. We are so thankful to the lady manager, Mario, Maurizio and the other gentleman that provided an enjoyable stay at Hotel Oceania & excursions around Rome’s region!

I did not like the fact that the air conditioner did not work in our room. I told 2 people at the desk but it was miserable and stuffy. Fortunately, we were able to open the windows and have the room cool down because it was cool at night.

The guy who checked us in was amazing! He gave us immediately the map and where to go. For those who are looking for this hotel, you have to find the elevator as the reception is at the third floor. Just happy that someone immediately pointed us where to go.

This was my second stay at Hotel Oceania and once again the experience was top notch. The hotel itself is very comfortable but it is the staff, again, that makes it superb.
My first visit was years ago (before the ease of smartphones) and I arrived as a single mom with my two children and no reservations (I work for the airlines so standby tickets).. The staff immediately set to work and were able to find a room for the three of us for several nights. Not an easy task at the last minute at a popular Rick Steves recommended hotel! Forever grateful!
A few weeks ago I arrived with a party of 8. I had to make a slight change in our reservation and, again, the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating.
I am not a person who writes reviews but I felt compelled to do so because the staff has consistently provided the highest quality service in a friendly and gracious manner.
I will always stay at Hotel Oceania when I come to Rome and I recommend that you do as well.

Pleasant staff, clean rooms, lovely place, great location. They brought me gluten free items for breakfast. Not a complaint, but the shower was tiny!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Oceana. It was a wonderful experience and everyone was so friendly and helpful. There are some great restaurants in the area within walking distance and we were not far from all the wonderful places to see in Rome recommended highly!

We lived the charm of being in the heart of Rome in a centuries- old building!
Location is close to the Metro with apps near Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and The Vatican only several stops away on the Red Line.
The Colosseum is the opposite direction on the Blue Line, so one transfer at Termini Centro (Central Terminal- this is the main train station for catching high- speed and other trains to various cities throughout Italy).
We arrived mid- morning. We were able to leave our bags in the hotel while we explored prior to check- in.
Mario was friendly and helpful.
The rooms were clean and comfortable.
Prior to exploring the city, be sure to leave your room key with Mario. They are staffed 24 hours.

Amazing! Situated a little away from the busy parts of the city but still within walking distance to everything. Room was super clean and all the stay were very nice/helpful. Will definitely stay here again in the future.
