Gentes B&B

We booked to stay here in Rome as it seemed the most affordable in a very expensive place. However, when we got to the location, there were no signs or indication where the hotel was. We could see the hotel next to it but no sign of Gentes B&B. We asked around and walked around the area and no sign of it anywhere. We called the number provided and it sounded like someone answered first time (background noise) but no one spoke and then cut out. We tried again several times after and consistently said ‘user busy’. We messaged ********** and they tried to get them to look into it and they couldn’t get hold of them either.. I don’t know what was going on! ********** we’re eventually very helpful after 2.5 hours of messaging on the app and on hold to gather relocation team, they helped sort alternative accommodation for us. Long story short: don’t waste your time/money. I’ve never had this before and was a shock to us there’s no checks before hand from ********** etc.
