Stayed at Poppelgaarden with our dog. Really great place and Our hosts were very friendly and hospitable. Super breakfast and both room and bathroom very clean. This place has our warmest recommendations. There’s even table football and table tennis as well as great outdoor facility’s. The beds were ok even though the neighbors bed was quite squeaky 😉

Need to provide a luggage rack. Climate control is a problem. The bathroom gets too humid

Very nice place. We only had one night and didn’t try the breakfast so I can’t speak to that.
One annoyance was that we booked through ********** where it was posted saved and breakfast. But it is actually a Danish hostel meaning you need to bring your own bedding. This was not clear and not a problem but was an additional charge that we weren’t expecting. It’s never good to have an extra charge applied when checking out. Always feels like a downer.

We spent two nights in two different rooms. The first one was with a shared bathroom, which had to be shared with one other couple. Fine, was ok. The only problem was that our rooms were adjacent and you could hear them talk, and they must have been able to hear us snore (assumption). The second room we had had a private bathroom. Perfect! The owners were very friendly and served a perfect breakfast. Located on the, what we thought, was the better part of Roemoe.

My first experience of a hostel. Nice comfy and clean room and good value. Not en-suite but the loo and shower were very good. Unfortunately, we were assigned a room in between the kitchen/dining room and shower: too noisy, and I don’t think it should be used as a guest room unless in an emergency and guest advised beforehand

First things first... The couple behind this place are just the nicest people I have ever met in this kind of place. The surroundings of this Bed and Breakfast are spectacular as well as the houses I lived in. Just beautiful! The rooms were nice and cozy. The small kitchen has everything I needed to prepare a decent dinner. Everything is held in old style, since the house is a couple of hundred years old. The breakfast in the morning, was simply fantastic. The bread was home-baked. Some of the cold cuts was homemade as well. Everything was in top class and very delicious.
