Family stayed here for christmas day and boxing day to be close to other family. This is basic but very clean and perfect for what we wanted and needed. Recommended if you need a place to drop your head between functions. Close to shops and with good acess and parking

Avery pleasant stay. very clean with comfortable bed. Had everything we required for our stay. Very friendly welcome on arrival and again at the time of check out ... It is situated on a busy road so the front units can be a little nosy however once the door is closed not a problem. YES, we would stay here again and for NZD160.00 per night book direct it is excellent valve. thank you .

What a lovely quiet clean (very clean) motel. Our unit (11) had everything we needed. Comfortable bed, easy to use kitchen, large TV and an excellent bathroom. This was the cleanest motel we have been in for a long time. Excellent location and lovely hosts.

Our unit was very clean and tidy. And the information that was provided about their cleaning procedure around covid etc was informative and made me feel safe.
The bed and pillows were super comfortable.
Massive big spa bath.
Perfectly stocked kitchenette with just the right amount of crockery, cutlery.
Over all it was one of the better places I have stayed in a long time as far as comfort and cleanliness.

The bed were very comfy,. We felt that they must be fairly new. The bedding was also of very good quality. Unit was clean and not cramped, Braemar Lodge is in a good location, not far from the town square. Lovely staff. Nice owners and we will stay again. Heating was turned on for us in advance which was very much appreciated. Good value for money. Everything you need.
