This is definitely the nicest hotel in Roundup! It might be a little dated, but we enjoyed our stay. My only criticism would be for them to up the bedding quality with newer and more comfortable offerings. Not only would the guest appreciate the more comfortable pillows, sheets, and comforters. But it would liven up the room for sure.

Stayed here over the weekend for a motorcycle race. The hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate my family last minute. The room was spotless, had comfortable beds, huge tv, and the recliner. Coffee shop attached to the front office was a huge plus! We used the outdoor patio and used the bbq pit, super nice setup!

The room would have been okay if it were secure. The key is inserted into the doorknob, not the deadbolt, so I was leery about leaving the room the next morning when I saw a man outside another room watching me. I did make sure the door was locked, but when I came back I was not surprised to find it unlocked. Nothing was taken. Management was unavailable at the time, and when I sent them a message on their website they ignored it. I highly recommend not leaving the room if you stay here.

This 3rd-generation owned motel has a vintage vibe, in a good way! The bathroom tub, etc in our room was the original 70’s gold color (in very good condition), the bedspread was the brown and orange mottled fabric you would expect for the era, and the chain swag lights added charm. It isn’t new but this place is clean! Housekeeping arrives everyday and you return to your fresh room with new towels, etc. There is a new coffee/boba shop on the premises that is delicious and run by a sweet person. There is a very nice deck with ample outdoor seating to enjoy the weather in Montana. This place has a hip vibe. Last but not least, the owner is incredibly nice and very eager to make sure each guest is happy! Definitely recommend the Big Sky Motel!

We stayed here one night, what a amazing motel. The room was spotlessly clean. Kureig coffee pods,2 bottles of water. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. This was the best motel we had had on our way home to Canada. Every detail of the room was perfect, including the old dial type telephone ☎️. The owner takes pride in this motel and it shows.

We really enjoyed our second stay at this, now updated, motel. Friendly, local handmade soap, walkable breakfast cafe with pumpkin pancakes just a few blocks down. Good shower, beds. Super friendly, inspiring family owner informed about everything in town ( dinosaur digs, music festivals). We’ll be back!

Very friendly owner. The room was nice and spacious, clean and comfortable. Very quiet even though there was no vacancy. Grocery store across the street which was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again if we come this way in the future.
