Motelli Rovaniemi

We cannot recommend Motelli at all. The cabin was dirty and haven’t been cleaned before our stay. Bed uncomfortable, interior warn down, further the cabin view to the heavy machinery workshop is not worth spending one day there. We stayed 1 out of 4 booked nights and when complained Motelli cancelled our stay and did not return the money for the unused days. Booked via *********** who don’t want to do nothing. Stay away from Motelli and ***********

The cabin was dirty, everything very old, specially all the items in the kitchen. The beds were terrible for sleeping, ever time you turned the whole bed moved to a side or an other. The sauna was disgusting, the bench were totally black and no light inside. No wifi, and no working aircon. On top of this just opposite the cabin the area looked like a dumpster. I spent one night ( out of 4)because no choice and thenleft, only used bed and toilet, the necessary, the rest was too disgusting. I asked for refund, they refused it. Then they cancelled my stay so I couldn’t put a review in booking and still didn’t refund. They lied to booking and said that I didn’t checked in, also they said that I didn’t notify them of my unconformity with the stay. They lied about many things to justify to non- refund. Definitely don’t recommend the place at all, it’s a total scam.

We've had an amazing 7 days here. Snows overnight, then clear with sun most days/evenings. Saw Northern lights. We had a clean, warm unit in a block of 12 with 2 single beds, however, there's 1 single and 1 small double. The unit has a dining table, sofa bed, wardrobe, TV ( 2 channels in English), underfloor heating, 2 electric hot plates, kettle, microwave, filtered coffee machine, bar fridge with freezer, sink, crockery, cutlery etc. Good shower. PRO'S: quiet & peaceful, public bus stop out the front €3.60 single trip to centre with limited timetable, public lounge area with tables, tea/coffee machine. Parking space at unit. BBQ area. Playground. Walks in the forest. CON'S: some tourist operators won't pick-up here, taxi into town centre cost €22 one-way, limited bus times on weekend, no milk etc for sale at reception, no oven, grill or toaster, long slippery walk on ice from reception to unit with luggage, (there are small, plastic sleds at reception we found later on) Hire of linen & towels is required. TIPS: Bring food, towels, crampons, car. Overall we had a fantastic time and didn't want to go home.

Location caratteristica e piacevole, comodissima se si dispone di auto. Possibilità di parcheggiare direttamente davanti alla propria unità abitativa. Ci è stata assegnata una casetta con il bagno e la veranda. Presente anche una piccola cucina dotata del minimo indispensabile per cucinare e che abbiamo utilizzato per le colazioni e le cene. Le lenzuola si ritirano e si pagano alla reception. Camera accogliente e bagno pulito ed essenziale. Servirebbero delle mensole. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci tornerei e lo consiglio.

Ottima posizione a pochi km dal Santa Claus Village. Appartamento e bagno puliti e dotati dei comfort essenziali. Per un paio di notti e considerato il prezzo è stato più che sufficiente. C'è anche una bella passeggiata da fare a partire dal campeggio.

Concordo assolutamente con tutte le altre recensioni negative! Fortunatamente ho passato con il mio compagno solo l’ultima notte del nostro soggiorno in Finlandia. E mi è bastata. Cottage e camera maleodorante. Per non parlare dei materassi sporchi e lenzuola piene di capelli! Consiglio: stateci alla larga :D

Il Motelli Rovaniemi si trova in un'ottima posizione a circa 10 km dal centro della città, immerso nella natura. Dista circa 15 km dall'aeroporto. Il Santa Claus Village si trova a circa 10 km . Si tratta di un piccolo villaggio composto da piccoli cottage/chalet di legno con terrazza, appartamenti e camere. Area barbecue e giardino accanto al laghetto artificiale. Ogni unità dispone di connessione Wi-Fi gratuita, phon, angolo cottura, utensili da cucina, frigo, forno a microonde, macchina per caffè americano, bollitore, tv, riscaldamento e aria condizionata. Nel nostro chalet c'era la sauna e il riscaldamento a pavimento in tutto l'appartamento. Varie prese elettriche. Soluzioni confortevoli, pulite e calde. Nell'edificio principale c'è una sala comune e il bar. Parcheggio gratuito in loco. Animali ammessi Lenzuola e asciugamani sono a pagamento a € 10,00 per persona, a soggiorno. Consiglio il noleggio di una macchina per spostarsi più facilmente. All'interno del complesso vi è anche un meccanico. Personale gentile e disponibile. Prezzi buoni. Io mi sono trovata molto bene... è un posto molto carino, caratteristico e suggestivo... poi con la neve è proprio da favola ! Sembra di stare in un film natalizio. Lo consiglio !

Gezellig en warm motel. Basic, maar je hebt alles wat je nodig hebt om een fijne vakantie te beleven. Badkamer is klein, maar er is een douche, toilet en lavabo. Daarnaast konden wij genieten van een kleine sauna. Er was eveneens een wasmachine beschikbaar. Keuken is ingericht met oven, micro, afwasmachine en frigo. Verwacht geen luxe, maar alles is aanwezig. Het komt allemaal wat oud over, maar alles is bijzonder net. Locatie ligt erg afgelegen - middenin de natuur - je bent best in het bezit van een wagen, want het openbaar vervoer is beperkt en taxi’s erg duur.

Buenísima relación calidad- precio. Está situada a 10 km de Rovaniemi, así que se necesita coche porque hay pocos autobuses. Cabaña cómoda, calentita y con todo lo necesario para cocinar. Tuvimos un problema con la sauna y nos lo arreglaron enseguida. El camping es muy chulo, no lo aprovechamos porque había muchísima nieve! Estaba todo muy limpio. Sin duda lo recomendaría 100%
