Very rude staff.

Absolutely stunning place. The only downside was that I was here for a conference and despite touring the place, didn't get to try the pool, spa and the awesome infrastructure (bike, backpack and other equipment loan, guided walks, etc). The setting is absolutely stunning and everything from the cool lobby bar area to the awesome kids lounge is top notch. I'm making plans to come back with the family: summer or winter, it looks like the perfect place for a break.

My experience at the Huus bar was extremely disappointing. Despite ordering three coffees with two portions of tiramisu, we had to wait a whopping 45 minutes before the coffees arrived, while the tiramisu was never served. Despite the waiter's apologies for the delay, the long wait time was unacceptable. In the end, exhausted from waiting, we decided to leave the table, paying only for the coffees. I hope that Huus can take steps to improve their service and ensure greater efficiency and courtesy towards their customers.

I was extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this bar. After waiting patiently for three-quarters of an hour, the tiramisu we ordered was never served. Eventually, tired of waiting, we decided to leave, paying only for the three coffees we had consumed. It was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. I cannot recommend this place to anyone based on my negative experience.

It was such an incredible experience from the very moment we stepped inside through that main door until the moment we bid our farewells. The welcome we received was so warm, so incredibly special and unlike anything we've ever experienced before. The atmosphere in the lobby was just so lively and vibrant, and the way we interacted with the clients was so casual, so refreshing, and so much fun.

We had the lovelies time staying in this lovely hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was beautifully decorated with all the details and felt really cozy like staying at home away from home not to mention the stunning view opening from the balcony. Also evening vibe in the lounge/living room area was perfect for after ski with good drinks and tasty sushi! The à la carte restaurant was also really good. Highly recommend and can’t wait to stay again at HUUS!

Our stay at HUUS Gstaad was unparalleled. For nearly two weeks, the impeccable service and cozy yet luxurious atmosphere made it difficult to leave. Unlike other properties in the area, HUUS Gstaad provides top-notch hospitality without any pretense. The staff's genuine care and attention to detail made us feel truly at home. From the stunning rooms to the exquisite food and serene environment, everything was simply the best. HUUS Gstaad isn't just a hotel; it's a retreat that stands out as the pinnacle of Swiss hospitality.

At the check in the receptionist started telling us that there is no tomorrow for this world, no future, we are all doomed, game is over. This was not the exact welcome we were expecting for a detox week. We were unfortunate to have the same lady do the check out for us. She has refused to print out the restaurant bills included in the final hotel bill, moreover she has accused us of killing the trees. Well, we did insist on having the proofs of payment which we checked only in the car as we rushed to leave the place. The irony is that some waiter has put on our room (we will never know why…) around 200 CHF bill for a dinner in their main restaurant that we have never had (we ate at the bar that night). We had to call to the hotel 3 times, no reaction. Then we started writing emails. We did receive the reimbursement, however we lost 30% on the FX transaction (paying, receiving the transfer). We have never heard any apology from the hotel: business as usual I suppose. Ok, on the plus side: location is fantastic, royal breakfast, 2 out of 3 DJs we have really liked, the room was silent, spacious, very clean with a fantastic view. The hotel is very clean, swimming pool is quite clean. Cleaning service was very good. Food in general was very fresh, well done, except for aubergine au parmesan which was burned from both sides (they do need to rethink the recipe). Sushi was very good. Some waiters were really top trained, contributing well to the lounge atmosphere. Overall we had a good stay with tiny bitter aftertaste. We would still recommend this hotel for all its pluses, the lobby/bar is something really spectacular, just double check everything before you pay.
