Super nice hotel with an excellent restaurant.

Nice surprise. Beautiful decoration of the rooms, beautiful space with a tastefully furnished hotel. Very good Italian restaurant and Italian manager also very pleasant. A great address to remember for my future stays

Great stop over close to A6 heading south. Newly renovated, clean, quiet, great restaurant for dinner and amazing coffee. Dinner was very well prepared and reasonably priced. Breakfast plenty and good.

What more can you ask for if you’re looking for a nice, modern and stylish, clean, welcoming and comfortable place for a stop over? I was more than happy with my stay. The three star rating must be according to some strict German rules. In any other country this would be a 4+ hotel. Great breakfast with just the things you wish for and all with high quality. My only gripe was that I hadn’t read the fine print. The hotel restaurant closes one night a week. Naturally this was when I got there super hungry and having the images from the hotel web site vividly in my mind. I discussed this with the lovely lady owning the hotel in the morning and got a very good explanation. They tried to have it open all week and added employees. The restaurant has very high ambitions and soon it became apparent that with more people involved there was just too much hassles and problem keeping a consistent high standard. So they decided to keep one kitchen crew and have a day off. Checking out when everyone else was open they landed on a Thursday. But, this gives me a very good reason to go back. Luckily there is a small pub, bier stube just opposite the hotel. I was met by the kind owners who fixed an excellent Flàmmeküeche coupled with a large local beer. Well I had two. So all in all a success. Highly recommended.

This was a great stay. The Hotel is beautifully designed with a great restaurant and great wine selection. It was so cozy and the staff made it feel like home away from home.

Beautiful place.

The owners and staff of Rossano Hotel & Ristorante are by far the best (and we travel VERY often!). They do everything possible to ensure their guests feel comfortable during their stay, calling before we even arrived to ensure we had our dinner reservations for the first weekend (weekend dinners are busy, but they always accommodated us), checking with us during our breakfasts (also on site) and dinner to ensure we had all we needed. The quality of service (and food) during breakfast and dinner was the best, to the point that you feel like family. The dinner menu changes often, which is nice for long stays (ours was 2 weeks!), to where you never feel limited on selection of food. We will miss our Rossano Hotel & Ristorante Family, until our next visit to see our son and his family, stationed at Ansbach Airfield/Katterbach.

Beautifully designed, and very well maintained property, with a beautiful view of the country side and town of Sachsen bei Ansbach. Located very close to Katterbach military base for those visiting family stationed there, as well as the Sachsen bei Ansbach train station (walking distance). Walking distance to a nearby grocery store and cafe for any necessities.
