Lovely little hotel in fairly rural France. Set in a nice little town and an excellent stop over before going to ZooParc de Beauval the following day. Nice grounds and had the weather been kinder, we would have sat outside. We had a family suite, room not as big as ones shown in pictures though. We were offered a complimentary welcome drink which was well received. Tried to explore the local town for dinner, but every restaurant turned us away for not having a reservation so we ended up getting take away pizza and sitting in our room, there is dinner available at the hotel, but it’s a very restrictive and quite expensive menu. We paid for breakfast and wish we hadn’t, it was very expensive for cereal and toast which was the only things on offer, no cooked or hot options at all. Staff all very friendly

Beautiful building, average rooms clearly not worth the price, for 220 euros we were expecting far better standards both in the room and the breakfast (which was understaffed, leading to a chaotic and dirty breakfast room).

Lovely location , popular with families, charming staff. However the hotel is expensive for what it offers. 119Euros gave me a room 3.5 x 3.5m with a view of a building in construction. The heating did not work and the duvet was too thin, the windows were single glazed, a large fan suggests the room is too hot in summer, the minibar was empty and the single glazed windows if opened admitted clouds of midges. Fortunately I had bought my own duvet and thanks to this enjoyed a good sleep till woken by the noise of the reception, the room being adjacent to the receptionist’s desk. The breakfast (9.50Eur) seemed reasonable value but when I went in at 0830 the room was full and the food had all been eaten. However when I returned later this had been replenished. In general this is a poorly managed hotel but with better management and substantial investment it could be wonderful. At present I recommend avoiding it but the other reviews suggest that my opinion is a minority one.

This historic, comfortable hotel was originally a hospital back in the day. It was very quiet at night, yet walking distance to several restaurants in Saint Aignan. We awoke to the aroma of fresh croissants in the morning & had a delightful breakfast (worth the cost). I highly recommend and will stay here again if we return to the area!

Très bel hôtel, avec une histoire, les lits sont très confortables. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par le propriétaire qui est adorable et qui nous a fait découvrir un très bon vin blanc. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et l’hôtel est calme, bien situé. Ma petite fille a adoré !

Un très bel endroit dans une région magnifique. Très calme, literie confortable. Les chambres spacieuses et propres. Un lieu exceptionnel. Un petit déjeuner un peu léger. Une seule sorte de yaourt pas de fruits frais ou œufs brouillés qui pourtant seraient très appréciés. Tom à l’accueil en fin de journée est très sympa. Nous y avons passé un très bon séjour. Je vous conseille vivement le restaurant le Vinci à deux pas de l’hôtel. Une bonne équipe très sympa une carte variée et de bons plats.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis et renseignés sur l'ensemble de nos demandes. Une mention spéciale à Gaël, une personne très professionnelle. L'hôtel est magnifique et la chambre spacieuse, calme et agréable et à proximité du zoo de beauval.

A notre arrivée, le réceptionniste a fait tout son possible pour nous rendre le séjour agréable, la chambre, le verre d'accueil, les conseils restaurant. Le séjour fût calme dans ce très ancien hôtel particulier avec, paradoxalement, des chambres rénovées dans un esprit plutôt contemporain. Mais, le charme de la pierre, les tables dans la cour intérieure, le plafond joliment charpenté de la salle de petit-déjeuner ... Tiens, le petit-déjeuner, parlons-en ! Une expérience unique ! Jamais, je n'avais vu un lavabo à côté de la table de réception, l'employée faisant la vaisselle, remplissant les deux lave-vaisselle, eux-aussi dans la salle, le tout avec une qualité de service que la moindre ferme-auberge dépasse. J'ajoute pour finir que vous devez débarrasser votre plateau !
