Whatever happened to the idea of customer service? We were not able to be given the room type we reserved. Instead of truthfully saying that two floors of the hotel are under construction, we were told they tried to contact us about the change but our phone was disconnected. The assigned room was large but the bed was a back breaker and there was no window that would open for a hint of fresh air. The remodeled hotel will be very nice but until then, the unappreciated customer has many other good choices. At checkout, the receptionist said nothing.
