Boutique City Hotel Gallo

The owners were really friendly. It was a hotel - but felt like we stayed in a home. It was clean and quiet. Very close to the main sights.. I highly recommend this place. We stayed for 4 nights. The bus stop is located right in front. Very easy to get to the train station.

The hotel is good but the owner is what makes the difference. He really goes out of his way to ensure everything's there to meet your needs. The location is convenient between university and downtown/train station. I would come again!

Very comfortable family-owned hotel. Rooms are neat and clean, bathroom spotlessly and modern. My room, on the back of the hotel, was very quiet. The owner, Christian, is very nice and available, always eager to give suggestions about places to visit. We felt like we were visiting friends instead of staying at a hotel. The only point that can be improved would be to add shades to the windows, as otherwise you risk being woken up by the light of dawn. (Christian was very kind to set up pillows against a window, which improved a bit the darkening.)

The hotel has been recently renovated. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent location for visiting the town, extra perk with free bus pass during our stay. Delicious breakfast, friendly staff and the manager will go to the end of the world to help you. The only downside is the noise on Jacobstrasse. We felt like we were visiting friends.

Zwecks Stadtbesichtigung St. Gallens übernachteten wir zweimal im "Boutique City Hotel Gallo". Die Messe St. Gallen beginnt gleich nebenan. Die Fußgänger-Innenstadt 15 Minuten Fußweg entfernt. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Jedoch die kostenfreien Nahverkehrstickets gab es erst einen Tag später und nur auf Nachfrage hin. Die Betten und die Bettwäsche waren sehr gut, eben kein Plastik und keine Schaumstoffkissen. Bei offenem Fenster deutlicher Verkehrslärm. Das inbegriffene Frühstück war ausreichend. Gesamtnote deshalb knapp sehr gut.

Credo di non aver mai trovato un titolare così gentile, cordiale, disponibile, ecc…sempre disposto ad assecondare le esigenze dei clienti. La camera, una tripla, molto ampia, con un bel salottino davanti alle finestre, ben arredata, ben riscaldata, bagno molto bello e ampio, doccia con l’acqua che scorre perfettamente (spesso mi capita di trovare poca pressione e lavarmi i capelli diventa un problema), buona la colazione, il pane con i semi che si trovava ogni mattina è uno tra i più buoni mai mangiato in un albergo, la posizione davvero ottima, a pochi minuti a piedi dall’ospedale e nel contempo vicina alla città (15/20 minuti a piedi), la fermata del bus si trova praticamente fuori dalla porta dell’albergo, ci sono molti ristoranti nella zona senza diversi recare in centro. Malgrado si trova su di una strada molto trafficata con le finestre chiuse il rumore è praticamente nullo. I cani sono ben accetti nelle camere. La cosa più apprezzato in assoluto è stata l’attenzione verso il cliente, il titolare, Christian, è estremamente gentile, cordiale disponibile, ecc…una rarità, che difficilmente si trova in un albergo! Complimenti e grazie! Sicuramente lo consiglio è se dovessi ritornare a San Gallo pernotterei nuovamente qua!

Das Hotel kann ich nur sehr empfehlen. Das Personal ist extrem zuvorkommend und freundlich, die Zimmer sauber und das Frühstücksbuffet bietet eine gute Auswahl an qualtitativ hochwertigen Bioprodukten.
