The location is great! 5 min walk to bus station. Breakfast is amazing! Strongly recommend!

Had a fabulous stay at the Royal Yacht, our Gold Twin room was really spacious and very clean. The food was excellent especially the breakfasts and the staff were really attentive and helpful.
Perfect location for accessing the local buses and tourist information. Would definitely stay here again.

The service / staff are amazing here. There is a Portuguese girl on reception who is really sweet and another European girl on reception too. There is a cocktail specialist in the bar who really knows his stuff (I think he’s Indian).
Staff at the breakfast in the morning are really good too! Try the oat milk latte.
Big disappointments are: the single beds are uncomfortable in the twin rooms with awful pillows. The pool in the spa is a bit dirty, the lighting gives the perception that the environment is cleaner than it actually is. The breakfast has no fresh fruit, surely you can provide daily watermelon, fresh pineapple and melon etc.

This would have been a 4/5 star review, however on check out we were accused of taking something from the mini bar, and despite the fact that we told them this was a mistake, we were still charged for it after we left. I had to tone the hotel more than once and was told they needed to investigate before they can issue us with a refund. It’s not about the money but about being treated like a liar over a drink. Shame really as the hotel is lovely otherwise.

Check in was quick and friendly
Breakfast was self service but it was nice to
Have eggs cooked to order
We used the spa twice it has a lovely pool
With Sauna and steam room although the latter was out of order

Clean, well-appointed room and bathroom. Staff all very polite and helpful. Spa was great - really enjoyed that, as the weather wasn't very good! Would definitely go back.
