This was a great little hotel within the walls of St Malo . The staff were exceptionally friendly , helpful and accommodating . We arrived in the pouring rain on a bicycle tour and they hurried to make our room ready early for which we were very grateful ! There was safe cycle storage , comfortable and really clean and well appointed room and a good value breakfast in a lovely dining room . The location could not be beaten as the old town is small and the hotel is right by one of the old gates.

My wife and I had a great weekend in Saint-Malo in mid-June 2024 and stayed at the Quic en Groigne. The hotel is in a perfect location near the Gate de Dinan, which makes it handy not only to access sites, restaurants and shopping inside the walls, but also for catching the pedestrian ferry to Dinard. Our room was small but quiet and had everything we needed, including a piping hot shower, and comfortable bed and pillows. The entire place was incredibly clean. The hotel staff and hosts were a bonus--friendly, helpful, and they put out a great breakfast buffet each morning in the solarium. Would definitely recommend!

The Hotel is located within easy walking distance from Restaurants, Cafes and the beach. My room was exceptionally clean. The Hosts are very welcoming and helpful, Assisting with parking the car and luggage. Breakfast was fresh and more than adequate Loved every minute of my stay thank you

This small traditional hotel is right in the walled city, and convenient for walking everywhere, including to one of St Malo's yellow sand beaches just steps away at the end of the street. My room was super-quiet and overlooked the small courtyard, with a window box filled with red geraniums. The bathroom was modern, the room decor was stylish and comfortable, and everything was spotless. I had the breakfast buffet (extra), which is taken in a bright conservatory, and which had lots of choices including eggs that you boil yourself. The owners are friendly and their restaurant recommendations worked out well. The desk closes around 8 pm, after which you let yourself in the front door with a code.

Driving a car into the walled city seemed daunting at first but we were greeted at the hotel door, instructed where to park to unload, and assisted with parking in the garage. The manager of the hotel and staff could not be more welcoming with suggestions for dinner with a map to guide us. The extensive breakfast buffet included freshly made regional food in a pleasant setting.

A fabulous, small but perfectly formed hotel within the walls of St. Malo's citadel. Everything within walking distance. Friendly and accommodating with bicycles which we could check in early. Lovely rooms with white linen and comfortable beds. A great breakfast available in the sun room.

Flexible check-in, clean room, clear instructions, friendly service, really nice breakfast in a little greenhouse, good value for the area. What more could you need? We were really glad we stayed here. (And for some reason this needs to be 200 characters so here ya go.)

A lovely small hotel in Saint-Malo run by a very helpful couple. They kindly changed my room to the ground floor so I could avoid stairs (no elevator). The location is at the south end of the walled city and was very quiet, but convenient to restaurants and just a half-block from a view of the sea through an arc in the city walls.Comfortable bed. Very nice breakfast in the sunroom.

What a great spot! Clean comfortable room, beautifully renovated bathroom, sun room for a lovely breakfast and great hospitality. All of this was located right in the magnificent old town of St Malo. And our hosts ordered up perfect weather!
