We enjoyed everything about this historic hotel: the room, the lobby chock full of art and references to its speak-easy past, the pastry shop, the bar, the comfy, covered front porch, the pool and fountains, food and drinks served poolside, the friendly staff, and the friendly guests we met. Also, the Hollander is perfectly located in St. Pete, being in the historic downtown district near my company headquarters and close to great destinations such as the Salvador Dali museum, Chihuly blown-glass gallery, and Morean arts center. I love historic downtowns and boutique hotels such as the Hollander. The rooms in historic hotels are often smaller than ones in chain hotels, but they more than compensate with their unique personalities and intimate atmospheres, which leave me with vivid memories of my stays in these sweet lodgings and the cities they call home.

We really enjoyed it, Will at the front desk was awesome! All the employees were so friendly. Service in the restaurant was great and food was excellent (breakfast). Gi ( not sure if spelled correct), shuttled us to the Rays game and picked us up after game. She was great also! We will definitely be back as we live in Tampa. Spreading our great experience to our family and friends here in Tampa. We will be back!

The Hotel hold pool parties that are open to the public on Sundays. We were not aware of this, although were told "it's in the reservation agreement". If you're staying on a Sunday and you enjoy a rave being thrown on property then this is the hotel for you...we never got to use the pool ourselves.

Loved the Retro Decor, the outside bar, dining under the stars alongside a graceful swimming pool enjoying peaceful relaxing music.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is great.
Property is clean and well looked after.

This place is awesome!! The room was cozy and the property was all around was perfect for our getaway. Amenities included a pool, pool bar, restaurant and coffee shop. We loved the Tap Room especially. Even got to lounge by a working fireplace! The decor is retro with lots of fun eclectic details. Walking distance to downtown.

We have been staying here for years. The Hollander has personality and maintains a lively, fun atmosphere. Our room was a little cramped but we don't come to hang out in the room. Easy walk to the center of things.

A unique and fun atmosphere. Everything was awesome about this place, especially the pool and dining areas. The bed was soooo comfy! It was a bit of a walk to the pier, other shops and restaurants but the Hollander makes up for that with their own amenities!

The staff was abrupt and not very helpful often. The room was dark and the bathroom was so small. The air conditioning was loud and relentless.
