I returned to Les Jardins de Maxima because my first night here was so good. My daughter and I returned from dinner to find our room was at 27degrees, we phoned reception and the guy said he would come ot the room to fix it. He stated that the air con was broken and there was nothing he could do but management would recompense us in the morning. They brought a fan but the room temperature remained above 26 degrees all night. By this time it was 12 midnight I contacted ********** but the advisor was of no help. The receptionist suggested we open the door but I ended up getting multiple mosquito bites. I phoned reception at 3 am because we both needed water… there was no reply after 4 attempts… we had to drink the bathroom tap water.
In the morning I went to check out having had no sleep, I asked to speak to the manager and said I wasn’t happy! She replied it wasn’t her fault. Eventually she handed me back 30 Quito’s which would hardly buy us a breakfast. I suggest you train your staff how to deal with this situation and you compensate your guests when they are subjected to conditions which it’s illegal to keep animals in.

Stayed for one night excellent accommodation about 5 miles outside Cannes…. Ideal if you have a car. Beautiful pool area, hotel is spotless and very comfortable. Only suggestion would be to improve the breakfast selection or charge less money.

Very comfortable and well located hotel, helpful staff, tasty meals, good for vacation stay, going to re-visit in the future.

If you are an American you will hate this place. It’s worse than a motel 6. We had to carry up 2 sets of narrow stairs. Barely any AC. Bed was tiny and the towel was for a child. Best part was the town and beach club across the street. I should have paid a few more dollars and found a decent place. Live and learn. Be warned now.

Bit of bumpy start but however things greatly improved. Booked for 2 nights but stayed for 9...that should tell you everything you need to know. Reception staff all very helpful, Alex in particular.. Thank you all for a fabulous stay and a special mention to the middle eastern looking waiter who was most friendly and amiably suffered our appalling French.

Good hotel. The breakfast was very good. Clean room and bathroom. Good bed to sleep in with nice pillows. Nice pool area. The staff was friendly. One negative thing was that the bar didn't open until 4pm. About 30 minutes to walk into the center of Saint Maxime.
