Elegant B&B - Il Vicolo Storico

Отличное место в старой части Салерно вблизи Дуомо и ботанического сада Минервы. До оперы, куда мы собственно и приехали, идти 9 минут, до вокзала подальше, но тоже близко. Харизмы добавило то, что номера располагались в старинном палаццо Сан Массимо. Номер удобный, тихий, теплый, что важно в декабре, с высокими потолками. Типичный итальянский завтрак с кофемашиной в номере, есть холодильник. Всё чисто и всё новое. Отдельное спасибо персоналу. The room was really comfortable and had everything we needed. Staff always willing to colaborate. To get to it you have to walk uphill for some minutes.

Excellent room, very tidy, clean. Located close to many restaurants. You will find a book gull of information that will help youbon your stay. The breakfast was very complete, cofee machine, milk, cookies, juice.Federico was very friendly and helpful. For sure we will come back! Gisele

This elegant B&B is in a fabulous location with so much on offer. 2 ports and a train station all in walking distance with loads of shops, bars and restaurants on your door step. The host goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. If you are driving then I advise you park in the local garage (4 nights - €80) but this covers local town taxes and offers security. Castles, Temples and the great Amalfi Coast is a must. Enjoy.

My wife and I came to Italy to celebrate our 10 Year Anniversary and stayed in Salerno for five nights while we toured around the Amalfi Coast during the day. We loved staying in the historic district, where this B&B is located, and found it walkable to nearby restaurants and shops. Check-in went well and we were provided with a binder full of helpful tips and recommendations to have during our stay which was great! They replenished our breakfast bar daily (cereal, sweet pre-packaged pastries, milk and juice) and sheets were changed every three days. The size of the room was great. The main issue we had was the staff forgot to replenish our towels the last day we were there, and when we notified management they were unable to get towels to us in time before we had to leave the next morning. We also had to request more soap for our bathroom as we were only provided one small bar to use between the two of us the entire time and it was also not automatically replenished. The bed was just ok and did squeak when you would turn over. Also, as a heads up, there are multiple keys to enter into the B&B. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Salerno, especially the historic district.

Prima plek om te verblijven. Modern en zeer schoon. Parkeerplek was even zoeken.

Stanza spaziosa, anche per il nostro cane al seguito, e dotata di tutti i confort anche in bagno con prodotti per la doccia ed asciugacapelli. Plus che puoi fare colazione quando vuoi perchè la camera ha anche uno spazio dedicato alla colazione con tutto quello che serve, tavolo, sedie, tazze e yazzine, caffè in cialde con relativa macchinetta, the con bollitore, latte con relativo scalda latte, yogurt, tortine e bondì motta....insomma tutto il necessario per una buona colazione all'italiana. Per non parlare della cortesia, simpatia e riservateza del gestore che ci ha accolti al nostro arrivo dandoci tutte le dritte necessarie per mangiare o per visitare Salerno, salutandoci alla nostra partenza.

Il palazzo che ospita questo b&b al primo piano ha circa 300 anni ma è stato svolto un efficace lavoro per coniugare antico e moderno. La nostra camera era ampia, arredata in maniera non banale ed esteticamente carina, soprattutto nei colori e nei mobili scelti. Letto comodo, aria condizionata, tv, finestra. Ambienti puliti e silenziosi. Il bagno, rimodernato con doccia, era invece un po’ piccolino e a volte abbiamo percepito un cattivo odore proveniente dallo scarico. Inoltre l’essere situati in pieno centro storico fa sì che la stazione ferroviaria principale sia a più di 20 minuti a piedi e se siete in auto considerate che è impossibile parcheggiare nelle vicinanze (il proprietario ci ha aiutato con utili e dettagliate indicazioni prima del nostro arrivo). Infine la colazione, da consumare comodamente stesso in camera anche se non molto varia. Nel complesso il b&b è consigliabile a tutti per la tranquillità, l’a**osfera e il prezzo altamente competitivo e i pochi elementi “negativi” (ma esagerando...) sono dati proprio dalla peculiarità del palazzo in cui soggiornerete. Statene certi: avrà pure 300 anni, ma non li dimostra!
