The personalized service and the cordial hospitality was much appreciated. The manager goes the extra mile to make his guests comfortable and feel welcome according to the motto: “Come as a guest and leave as a friend”. Our stay was a delightful experience with cherished memories of a very good stay. We are glad to have stopped here and highly recommend the Hotel Arkanum to anyone considering an overnight or several in Salgesch. Dan H.

The hotel stuff was sick with stomach virus and they knew but did not say a word.nor did they offer a compensation , not even a Taxi to the train station.They served with a smile but let half of our group get sick. I had to fly home , lose working days and my family got sick too

My husband, son and I just spent a most agreeable 3-day stay at the Hotel Arkanum, which coincided with the Swiss National Day. The hotel staff prepared a special celebration marking the occasion, culminating with an impressive nighttime spectacle of fireworks in a nearby field, accompanied by delicious sparkling wine. The friendly staff was also very helpful in advising us on things to see and do in the area, including several recommendations of lovely hikes in the region. We look forward to returning soon!

Angenehmes Familienhotel mit sehr guter Küche. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr reichhaltig. Ich hatte ein geräumiges Zimmer mit bequemem Bett. Der Service ist top und das Personal ist zuvorkommend und es herrscht eine familiäre A**osphäre. Ein kleines Hotel, bei dem man ein grosser Kunde ist, und nicht umgekehrt! Regula K.

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Die Reservierung mittels Internettool hat wunderbar funktioniert. Wir haben den Check-In vor Ort gemacht. Saubere, grosse Zimmer, zweckmässig eingerichtet. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Die Konsumationen konnten wir aufs Zimmer schreiben und bei Abreise bezahlen ( es gab noch Bärlauch-Pesto als Dankeschön) Das Frühstück war super. Frisch zubereitetes Rührei, selber gemachte Konfiture etc. Ich hatte keine Wünsche offen :) Das Abendessen, frisch und Regional! Sehr lecker. Wir komme wieder!!

Durchgehend sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, sei es im Restaurant, an der Reception oder an der Bar. Das Hotel ist optimal und ruhig mitten in Salgesch gelegen. Je nach Ausrichtung der Zimmer hört man bei offenem Fenster die Kirchenglocken ziemlich laut - aber das ist nun Mal so in einem Dorfzentrum. Die Zimmer waren sehr grosszügig, wenn auch die Einrichtung im ganzen Hotel vom Stil her schon etwas älter ist. Das war aber kein Problem, da alles in sehr guter Verfassung und sehr sauber ist. Einzig die Betten waren etwas schmal. Das Frühstücksbuffet war hervorragend, wir erhielten sogar frisch zubereitete Rühr- und Spiegeleier. Insgesamt ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Zu empfehlen ist auch ein Abendessen im Restaurant!

Wir sind wiederum sehr freundlich empfangen worden von Rita, der Wirtin und Gastgeberin.. Man hat das Gefühl: Man ist Heim gekommen. Einfach Schön. Wiederum dasselbe Zimmer, schön aufgeräumt mit allem Drum und Dran. Auch Wasser in Flaschen und sogar Konfitüre aus Weintrauben zum nach Hause nehmen. Vielen Dank
