Catussaba Resort Hotel

Acabei de chegar no hotel e minha experiência está sendo horrível, estou com minha esposa e nos colocaram em um quarto que tem uma porta conjugada com outro apartamento, o quarto está cheio de Jovens batendo na minha porta toda hora, enfim maior barulho, privacidade zero!!! Liguei para a recepção e pelo menos a recepcionista Bruna foi bastante Cortez, de imediato nos encaminhou para outro quarto, porém com duas camas de solteiro. Absurdo total, a gestão do empreendimento não demonstra respeito algum com o hóspede. Detalhe não aceitamos ficar no segundo quarto e estou a mais de meia hora aguardando outro quarto. Falta de respeito, com certeza eu e minha esposa não pretendemos voltar ao catussaba hotel. Não recomendo. Me sentindo enganado.

Excelente estádia, café da manhã maravilhoso, quarta excelente em conforto sem falar da estrutura do hotel. Minha esposa adorou a estadia.

Ótima localização, próximo do aeroporto como eu desejava. Resort muito bom para relaxar e descansar. Equipe atenciosa. Quartos limpos, mas a acústica não mto boa. O quarto era interligado sendo possível escutar os vizinhos. Percebi sujeira nos corredores, onde os hóspedes deixavam pratos sujos e havia mta demora em recolher.

Pontos positivos: beleza do local com vista para a praia, pôr do sol maravilhoso, ainda mais com a lua cheia foi espetacular; infraestrutura; próximo ao aeroporto e com fácil acesso a uber/taxi; café da manhã variado. Pontos negativos: muito pombo na área do restaurante (que traz doença grave); a limpeza deixou do quarto a desejar, quando cheguei notei areia no piso e a noite muitas formigas que invadiram as malas - depois de informada a situação na recepção, foi realizada limpeza, porém as formigas doceiras voltaram dois dias depois; o restaurante oferece pratos caros porém com péssima qualidade, no geral são bem mais caros que os restaurantes renomados, comida sem tempero/sem sal. Um jantar casal com um prato espaguete ao molho sugo (sem sal, nem tempero, apenas molho de tomate), mais um filé de salmão grelhado (cru, frio e sem qualquer sal e tempero) com legumes (também sem sal nem tempero) e arroz maravilha, mais um suco e uma porção de batata frita (fria e murcha), ficou em torno de 200 reais.

O que deixou a desejar um pouco, foi o atendimento na área da piscina, poderia melhorar um pouco em questão de agilidade para com os hóspedes.

Minha expectativa era alta mas foi totalmente frustrada por um quarto pouco aconchegante, só tinha espelho no banheiro a porta estava velha e se desfazendo na parte de baixo. Os móveis antigos não estavam envernizado e com isso com um aspecto de velho. O atendimento foi péssimo e os preços absurdamente caros, uma cerveja em lata por 17 reais. A piscina é bonita mas rasa. Não pode levar seu cooler pois é proibido o consumo fora do quarto, um absurdo mas eu levei meu cooler pois não fui lá pra ser "assaltado" com preços absurdos. A área externa é muito bonita e renderam ótimas fotos. Gente o café da manhã o restaurante estava lotado e os alimentos demoravam de ser repostos. Nesse dia houve greve de ônibus que já estava avisado desde sexta e a gestão não tomou nenhuma atitude preventiva para ter funcionários suficientes para não deixar acontecer o caos que foi.

This was an experience of great highs and lows. We would not return to this resort. Positives first. The location is very convenient, less than ten minutes from the airport (about 30 mins from the city center, but if you plan to spend your time on the beach you can't beat it). The beach attached to the resort is beautiful and pleasant, with lots of vendors selling food, drinks, and trinkets. The pool is nice, with plenty of chairs and music always playing. However, there is no real poolside bar. The closest bar is way back by the hotel, and in any event you need to go inside to a busy kiosk to pay for a drink before you can order one (it's much better to just buy drinks from the vendors on the beach; they're cheaper, stronger, and larger). There's no poolside bathroom either, so plan on a hike to pee unless you have a poolside room. The dinner buffet is decent, kind of hit-or-miss, with some dishes being delicious and others mediocre. The breakfast buffet is very basic, the highlight being an omelette station. But don't expect five star food quality here by any stretch. All this was acceptable, but what will cause us not to return was the room itself. The room quality simply isn't worth the price. I'd expect to pay about half of what we paid for the quality of room and service we got. The furniture, floor, bathroom fixtures, sheets, etc., are all extremely basic, what you'd expect at a budget hostel. Our "king size bed" was actually two twin mattresses with a mattress pad wrapped around; the two mattresses were very different heights. It was quite uncomfortable. Our room key constantly stopped working. It just suddenly wouldn't open our door. This happened about 10 times during our four-night stay. Every time we'd need to return to the desk to get the key re-programmed. The resort claimed that our cell phones' magnetism caused this. I would have accepted this, except that our room was never cleaned throughout the day, leading me to suspect that the cleaning staff couldn't get the door open either. The staff seem to have simply ignored this problem and moved on to clean the next room. All three evenings when we returned to the room, it remained dirty and untouched. We had to pester the staff repeatedly to get the room cleaned-- the first night, we had to ask them three times and the room was finally cleaned around 9pm, after we'd have preferred to be in for the night. The second night, we returned quite late and chose to simply sleep in a dirty room (with beach sand in the sheets) rather than wait for them to clean it in the middle of the night. The third night, we complained angrily at the front desk around 6pm and finally got the room clean at a reasonable hour. We were offered no apologies for these issues, nor any discounts, not so much as a free cocktail. Nothing. I will admit that this was our first hotel experience in Brazil, so we are uncertain what standard to expect, but I would not pay this price for the service and quality that we received anywhere in the world. Our friends stayed down in Barra at a generic hotel, paid 60% of what we did, and their room was of a much more acceptable quality. Bottom line: unless you're getting a day pass for beach and pool access, I would skip this place.
