As we booked that hotel we were not really aware that there is Hotel Neutor and Neutor Express and as we arrived at the Reception we learned that we are booked in Neutor Express, just across the street. Just out of curiosity I asked for a price for a double room , one night with breakfast in the regular Neutor I understood that the offer was about 40 Euro more expensive. Because we were travelling on budget I kept the original booking at the Express. I did not cross my mind till we opened the door to the booked room that this room is definitely in need of paint and refurbishment from top to bottom, including the bathroom! If it would not have been late in the evening and we were exhausted after a full day travelling, we definitely would have left on the spot. The floor was covered with an old, stained wall to wall carpet, the headpiece of the bed stained, the furniture shabby and the bathroom with mould around the tiles of the bathtub. I was wondering if "Express" means to expect such a low level of cleanliness and outdated furniture? We survived the night and had breakfast at the regular Hotel Neutor across the street which had an updated breakfast room and looked well taken care of. I learned something really important that day, always! to read the reviews first before booking!
