The lodge is nicely located at the riverside. This village is really away from it all, very few tourists. Very quiet. Nice bungalows with everything you need. Small terrace and some had also outdoor showers. Nice food - breakfast, lunch, dinner with good options. The tours the lodge offers are fantastic. We did the boat tour down the river and a nature hike.

I love quiet atmosphere and great scenery from dining area. I took nice pictures of beautiful birds including toucans. I want to stay again.

This is certainly a highlight of our Costa Rica trip. One of the most beautiful places we visited. We had Miguel as our tourguide and he is the best. Not only he has a lot of knowledge of the local community, he knows about every plant or tree (medicinal), he also knows about every animal living in that area. What is interesting about his tour is the personal experience in the area (life long) and his passion about the wildlife and rainforest. And he is keen to share it all with his clients.

Excellent quiet spot with spacious well designed rooms overlooking the river. Birds everywhere and lovely walks. The restaurant food was really good and we were totally looked after by Gerolina (I think that was her name). Can’t fault the place

Me encantó! La habitación muy espaciosa, con hermoso Deck que te hace sentir la naturaleza. Personal muy amable y dispuesto apoyar. Celebre mi cumpleaños con ellos y hast me hicieron pastel y me cantaron. Me sentí en casa. Resaltó la limpieza del baño y lo confortable de la cama y almohadas. Lo recomiendo y espero regresar pronto.

Très beau lodge dans un magnifique jardin. Le petit déjeuner est correct et le personnel à l'écoute des clients. Des excursions sont proposées par l'hôtel et notamment une balade en bateau pour observer les animaux. Le guide était super; par contre, le bateau était trop bruyant. Nous avons vu peu d'animaux

Bon confort, j'ajouterai quelques meubles et décorations, douche extérieure très appréciable, restaurant correct mais prix élevés, très bel environnement, idéal pour un séjour de plusieurs nuit, très belle région au nord du Costa Rica très proche du Nicaragua.

Un lieu hors du commun, en pleine nature, un lodge surplombant le Rio San Carlos avec tout le confort. Un accueil chaleureux de l'équipe. Lodge climatisé avec un très bon grand lit dans la jungle au bord de la rivière. Le petit plus c'est la douche extérieur que les colibris fréquentent ❤️ . Wifi dans le lodge. Très bon petit déjeuner avec plusieurs options au choix et le diner proposé est également très bon. Des activités sont proposés par l'établissement (annulé 2 fois en ce qui nous concerne à cause de fortes pluies pour l'observation des oiseaux) Belle excursion à faire sur le Rio San Carlos jusqu'à la frontière fluviale du Nicaragua (observation d'oiseaux, crocodiles et végétation luxuriante (arbre d'avatar),...) Vraiment un très beau lieu, plein de charme et que nous recommandons ❤️. Juste un petit conseil pour les propriétaires, quand il pleut très fort et un peu longtemps, les accès sont difficilement praticables, on est dans la boue, il faudrait trouver une solution...
