Beautiful setting. Good food . Great experience Spent 3 nights there Easy access to Florence and Sienna. Much different than staying at a hotel Cool architecture and library Kind and attentive staff Beautiful grounds Very quite at night time

It was a nice venue for an anniversary celebration for me and my wife. My brother and sister and their spouses joined us for our stay. It is a beautiful facility and well-run. Would highly recommend.

Villa il Poggiale is tucked away in the Tuscan landscape just south of Florence. The vistas from anywhere in the Villa are breath-taking. The room that we had was beautifully appointed and decorated to perfection and included all amenities. We ate at the Villa for breakfasts and most dinners and their food is decadent. Service is top-notch and staying at the Villa feels like 'you are at home' - there are many areas to hibernate to, inside and outside. The library, in particular, is a soleful place to spend time and just think about the generations that once used the Villa in all its splendour. A marvellous stay!!

Whether you are considering staying for one night or a month, you SHOULD DO IT! Villa il Poggiale is a Tuscan Paradise. We got married in this magical Villa working very closely together with Monica and her fantastic staff. Being from the United States, we had to work with Monica and the team remotely to coordinate our special day. The team exceeded our expectations! They ensured everything was organized with our vendors, welcomed our guests and ensured our events on Friday and Saturday ran on time. We and our guests were overwhelmed with the warm welcome, the setting, the scenery - this Villa has a soul that touches you. Every time we've been we are instantly at peace when we step onto the property. It feels like a second home/special place for us in the world and we will continue to return in the future. We cannot thank Monica, the Villa Il Poggiale staff enough for everything they do. We are so blessed to have found such a beautiful place in the world to have shared with our family and friends. Thank you for all!

When I think of every romantic movie location in Italy, Villa Poggiale is it. The views, the olive trees, the food and wine. Everything was excellent. The rooms were spacious and quiet and so romantic. We travelled to 6 cities in Italy and this was our favourite stop. Thank you for making it so memorable.

I can't speak high enough about our stay at Villa il Poggiale Dimora Storica. Everything was perferct, the food, the service and the beautiful villa. They encourage you to feel at home and we certainly did! We will definitely be going back.

We got married in this magical Villa 10 years ago working very closely together with Monica and her nice staff. It was a 4-days celebration so it was a lot to plan, but we were in professional hands also working with Linda Jostler who lives close by and works as a wedding planner. We went back now to celebrate our 10 years and was overwhelmed by tha warm welcome, the setting, the scenery - this Villa has a soul that touches you. It feels like a second home in the world and we would like to come back as soon as possible. Thank you for all!

A truly beautiful location with stunning views of the Tuscany countryside. Our room took our breath away! Really excellent food and service. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would love to return here one day
