Tenuta Il Corno Agriturismo

The Agriturismo was 5 Stars all the way. The room, service, food and staff were all amazing. We ate at the restaurant every night and breakfast every morning. The food was incredible. We participated in the wine tasting and cooking class. We enjoyed both. Roberta went that extra mile to get us to the Agriturismo when our flight was delayed and we did not arrive until 12:15 AM. Massimo made dinner at the restaurant so enjoyable and entertaining. Countess Maria Giulia’s attention to detail is beyond words. Do yourself a favor and take her cooking glass. It was the best. We will be back next year. To stay at this amazing Agriturismo feels like you’ve arrived home.

Tenuta il Corno was disapointing in several ways. The villa showed on the website is not the building the guests are staying at. The villa is placed on the opposite side of the road and you’re not allowed to walk around it. When my husband took a walk in front of the villa with our stroller to get shade for our sleeping son two dogs ran towards them barking. The front yard is poorly maintained and not welcoming. There’s no animals even though the Website shows horses and a rooster. Being a ‘country side’ hotel as we were told, one would expect more service generally. There’s no coffee in the apartment. Not even for the first morning. The restaurant is good, but it’s closed for lunch all weekdays and you can’t even buy a cold drink, coffee or an ice cream for the children. The rule for people to wear a swim cap if they dip their head in the water is just annoying and there was way too much focus on managements ideas about where everyone should sit at the pool. It might be coming from a good place, but it’s annoying. The apartment: The interior is nice, beautifully selected and decorated. Unfortunately I have personally never slept on a poor mattress like the one in Frantoio. It would feel ok in a couple minutes but I would be laying in a deep (!) hole all night. The bathroom is moldy or dirty. I now understand why theres no pictures of it. The Fridge low functioning and the Freezer is broken. The staff The owner didn’t come say hi which would’ve been a nice gesture, having been there longer than anyone we spoke to. The receptionist is nice and she tried her best to find a couple of things to do in the area. The waitress and The Wine expert are Sweet and great at their job

We ate in the Restaurant , and had the pleasure of meeting proprietor Contessa Maria Guilia as well. It was a wonderful experience for a leisurely lunch , accompanied by various red wines from the estate. Starter , main course and desert were superb and really good value considering the wonderful interior ambiance and quality of food ,as well as professional yet friendly staff. Definitely a day to remember, and hopefully we will return soon !!

We stayed here with my wife and our 3 month baby: it was perfect! The room was spacious and, even though we did not have air conditioning, it was cool enough. The room, the bathroom and all the public spaces were very clean and well kept, so as the pool area which was perfectly organised [every room has it own pool space]. We had dinner at the restaurant, which was lovely and the breakfast was one of the most pleasant one, thanks also to Mrs. Stefania our hostess for the mornings.

My three teens and I enjoyed the most wonderful Italian cooking class and lunch today! The history of the property was fascinating and the hospitality unmatched. The wines and olive oil made on site were amazing. The hosts were so kind and immediately felt like family. I highly recommend a stay here or at least a meal.

Siamo tornati dopo 17 anni, medesima atmosfera della Toscana del Chianti non artefatta, ma incontaminata. Momento migliore per la recensione: dopo l'ospitalità del mattino, per le prime colazioni, della bravissima e gentilissima Silvia. Un grazie alla sempre affabile Contessa, perfetta padrona di casa della tenuta.

Posto stupendo pieno di storia e di calore...l ubicazione è unica, infatti è a metà della strada più bella del chianti!! Piacevolissimo l apertivivo in giardino sempre con ottima musica e vini di produzione propria eccellenti...fiore all occhiello la presenza della proprietaria, cuoca straordinaria e persona attenta alle esigenze del cliente che sa accogliere con calore e simpatia che difficilmente si trovano...!! Buona vacanza a tutti
