Horrible short stay. First of all, toilet clogged at approximately 11:30 pm. Telephoned housekeeping. No answer. Automated message suggested to leave message and someone will follow-up. Message left. After one hour no call back. Bug found crawling in bathroom. Exterminated. Notified front desk. Front desk associate informed of issues. Unable to assist with unclogging toilet or bug issue. Offered to provide with another room. So, my guest and I ended up packing our belongings to relocate to a different room at 1:00 am after we obtained a new key card to a different room. Not able to locate room as we roamed around in the dark at 1:15 am. Had to go back to the front office clerk since the security guards on site were to engulf in their own conversation to assist with locating the new room. They suggested to ask the hotel clerk. Asked clerk to provide me with a room that had the same access as the previous room and to please provide with a map so that we may locate this new room in the dark. Map was provided. Although, the toilet was not clogged in the new room we did find a little insect crawling on the sheets of one bed. The new room was not as clean. The filth on the bottom of inside of the door and the edges of the bathroom door was unacceptable! I guess you get what you pay for. Lesson learned… I will pay for the $200-$300 a night hotel room for peace of mind even if I am only in the hotel room for a few hours before I depart!
