Anlage und Umgebung sehr schön. Die Appartements aber leider ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen, dunkel, und leider nicht sehr sauber. Die Pools und das Ambiente sind aber sehr schön.

Cose positive: Camera spaziosa Box doccia nuovo e ampio Amenities ok Stanza di fronte alla piscina con piccolo patio esterno Piscina grande e acqua pulita Ambiente e aree comuni molto belli Aspetti negativi: Pulizia scarsa (trovati insetti morti in camera e polvere un po ovunque) Minibar vuoto e molto vecchio,però funzionante Mobilio vecchio, da cambiare Carta parati da cambiare,era in parte staccata dal muro Colazione servita in una sala molto calda,senza aria condizionata. Noi l'abbiamo fatta fuori,dove si stava molto bene,essendo la mattina presto. Ma c'erano molte vespe La sera alle 22 non abbiamo trovato nessuno in reception,pur essendo aperta e avendo provato a suonare Faretti a terra lungo i percorsi della struttura tutti non funzionanti Quasi tutti i vasi erano vuoti o con piante morte dentro Nel complesso posto magnifico ma senza quasi alcuna cura. (Solo la parte dedicata agli eventi sembrava sufficientemente curata) Nota positiva: il rapporto qualità prezzo rimane buono perche abbiamo speso poco per pernottamento e colazione.

It was a perfect out of the way location with AMAZING views!! We weren’t told that breakfast was extra ( it wasn’t even a great breakfast) until we were checking out. The road is very curvy getting there but worth it for a relaxing time away from crowds. Some of the people were extremely helpful and others didn’t want to be bothered. We stayed away from the restaurant for dinner, filled with tourist buses

Beautiful views everywhere you looked. Good breakfast but you do pay for it. Restaurant on site but limited menu. We kept waiting to get pizza but not at lunch. We went one night and they decided to pizza due to tour group. We went into a small town and ate pizza with the locals. Good wine which is their wine and food was from local farms. Dry peaceful but you must have a car to stay here. Very Italian roads to get anywhere like Florence, Pisa, and Tuscany Drive through 3 towns.

The property is like a mini resort. I absolutely loved staying here. Our cabin was nice and cozy. It is a bit of a crazy uphill drive, but totally worth the effort! Excellent breakfast options as well.

I have to advise you to avoid this place, I'm afraid. It is incredibly, incredibly beautiful and in fact our wedding itself was amazing, but after everyone left, they stole money from almost all of guests using the credit card information each guest left. They took amounts between 40e and 120e indiscriminately and after all the guests had checked out and tried to validate these with the guests by saying that the couple (us) did not pay for the food so they had to charge our guests. We of course paid for all costs precisely in the way that was agreed (with plenty of written proof), then at the end of the wedding they tried to overcharge us by over 3,400e. When we declined to pay this, they then stole it from each of our guests within minutes. Shameful and illegal, of course. We are currently in the process of a lawsuit, which one really shouldn't have to do after one's wedding. Sad.

Absolutely loved my stayed. We have been greated by friendly staff members all weekend no question is too big or small. The views are amazing, and it's peaceful. There's a little place to go For breakfast and lunch, and then you can book to go in restaurant, the food was delicious, and good selection to Choose from. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to the train station which is 15 minutes away, if you want to go into Florence. It's €20 each way but its worth it if you don't like driving on the little roads, A special shout out to the gentleman who took us. He was brilliant!!! The room We stayed in was beautiful. Yes it was a little dated but we wanted the authentic experience and it lived up to our expectations. There is two pools which you can use. One of the pools was opposite our room and we made use of it..we walked into town which took about 5 minutes and had a few drinks which was very reasonably priced and we were greated by very lovely friendly locals. If it is a quiet retreat your looking for then I definitely recommend, it's been perfect for me and my husband, for our anniversary, thank you for a wonderful stay

The views were amazing and our family had a great time at the pool, otherwise this place was very disappointing. The food options for lunch were either extremely limited and average at best or identical to the dinner menu with no pizza options. It very creative or fun when there are no other options within 4 kilometres. The service and friendly was of the staff was horrible outside of our evening waitress and the head chef. Everyone was rude and unwelcoming, we always felt like we were a bother and walking on pins and needles. The facilities are extremely outdated and felt dirty, especially as there is no cleaning service/daily housekeeping. The items in the room are in on the condition that the prior person left them in and there are not normal things provided like soaps. Our bathroom smelled like a wet dog and I’m sure there is mold in the walls. We had to have the windows open the whole stay to limit the smell. The shuttle service is also a rip off as they will only take you to the local train station for 50€ (60€ if not cash) and you can get a local taxi to and from Florence for 80€ total. The horse rides were fun for the kids, but at an additional cost and not easy to set up as they are not part of the actual hotel come to find out. Last, there was a wedding and an additional private party during our stay(not advertised at all) that took up the possibility of any additional lunch/drink options during the day and the ration of the restaurant staff at dinner.

I can write pages but I will keep it short; Rooms: gotta be lucky (we were). Some have a roof over the terrace and some not. Its quite warm so a roof is no luxury. Staff; reception; nice. Restaurant; not nice. Food: pizzas are excellent all the other stuff we tried; small and expensive. Nothing too special. Breakfast is fine for us, but don’t expect too much. Location: isolated but beautiful. Takes some time to get anywhere. Roads are something to get used to but better use the ‘SP’ roads. Tips; Get to centre of the town (San Donato d. F.) and meet up with some local bars. Its MUCH better service and price. Be prepared for musquitos and flies. They are represented. Take the train to Florence. Saves alot of time and stress. Its a 15 min drive to the local station that brings you direct to downtown Florence. Bring groceries. Especially beer and wine. Enjoy
