We were coming into the City for a fundraiser being held at the Presidio and hadn't really thought of where to stay. The Lodge turned out to be perfect and it allowed us to get acquainted with the fabulous facilities at the Presidio! Will be back!

The Lodge is definitely an expense, but for it's location, design, parking, breakfast bar and wine hour, it is worth it. It is the best value in San Francisco.

I came here with family, and this hotel is in the perfect spot! Its location is amazing, and many places are within walking distance. You can walk to the Golden Gate Bridge and multiple hikes and paths in Presidio Park. The Walt Disney Family Museum is right next door and is worthy of a visit. The bridge is visible from the room, and the 5-7 p.m. cheese and wine service was fabulous.

Charged for an extra night after a morning checkout!! I was not told that I would be charged when I checked out. When I tried to resolve it they told me to talk to the conference group to try and defer my question. Be careful!!

The staff are so polite and helpful. They are always in a great mood and ready to help anyway they can. The views of the golden gate are absolutely stunning! I look forward to going back again each year!

I’m staying here every time I’m in San Francisco. My daughter and I had such a memorable trip together. Lodge at the Presidio is wonderful, from the staff and the facility, top notch. The breakfast is so good as is the wine and cheese spread in the evening. I’ll be back!

Great location - the countryside in the city - plus wonderful historical ambience. Nice amenities including the best continental hotel breakfast I've ever had (everything was fresh and a cut-above). And very clean. However the mattress felt like an original Army surplus cot. We had an uncomfortable night's sleep. This was quite surprising and disappointing considering how well the property excels in everything else.

I love this hotel and the new rebrand. They have thought of just about everything, It was one of the most comfortable beds and it is the perfect location for a morning run through the park and/or across the golden gate.

Wonderful hotel and outstanding staff. We needed to be close to the Veteran's Medical Center so this was close for an Uber ride. Our room (101) was so quiet and perfect for what we wanted. It is a wonderful respite from the noise of the city. We enjoyed all the interesting history of the area but in particular the art work inside the Lodge itself. The historical items of the original barracks was most interesting as well. The flower arrangements were outstanding and added a perfect touch to the common areas. Lovely stay!
