We had a wonderful stay! Awesome staff, 24-7 bar service. Clean rooms and beautiful views. Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends/family. Thank you, El Colonial!

We really enjoyed our stay. Superb staff. Great location. Complimentary lobby bar for guests open 24/7. Nice rooftop area. Some umbrellas on the roof would be nice. We'll definitely stay there again.

The staff were more than helpful, from the second we walked in Lewis immediately greeted us with drinks (free open bar) and gave us great tips on how to start our vacation. Also the communication between staff was top notch! I will most definitely be staying here again when I visit back.

Very conveinant location in heart of old San Juan. Our room was upgraded & we were provided alcoholic beverages when we liked. Hotel is old , no elevators & rooms old as are towels & linens and pails in hall catching water.

From the amazing check-in experience (immediately attended to, provided a drink, bags taken care of, etc) to the daily room service, open bar, local suggestions from staff and everything in between, this place is a must stay. Location was great (tons of places to eat and things to see) and the roof top was a nice touch to still be able to relax without leaving the hotel but also without being inside the room if you wanted a break from the streets.

Rooftop deck amazing! Staff SUPER friendly/amenable. Very old building but well maintained. Great perks. VERY safe. Centrally located in old San Juan. Easy to walk to most everything there.

Personally, it was a very bad experience since it rained and I had a leak all night, it flooded outside my room, the room is super small, and the air conditioning hits you in the face.
