Charming boutique bed and breakfast hotel, well situated near shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The lovely staff and owners were attentive and warm. It’s a colonial house with a sweet sweet garden. The fact that it has only 11 rooms creates a feeling of home with guests and staff greeting each other in a familial and warm way.

The people that worked at Hotel Carmen were wonderful and the service was excellent. We loved our stay. It’s a beautiful location and very convenient to everything walking!

A true gem of a stay! Perfectly located one block from the main plaza.
The breakfast was delicious.
The bedding was perfect.
The old colonial building is kept in very good shape.
Beautiful inside courtyard.
The staff was super courteous.
We will most definitely go back.

I have stayed here four time over the course of 15 years. I like the place, the staff, the food. Unfortunately April is "summer" - didn't realize this - and there's no air conditioning in the rooms. As I write it's 90 degrees outside and at least that in my room. Even with fans, a wall mount air handler I can't stop sweating in the room. This happened yesterday as well. It will cool off by 6 or 7 tonight, but it will take awhile for the room to cool down. If you plan on using the room during the day, this is not the place. Other times of the year it's fine - well located and friendly.

Staff is really kind and look after you all the time. Hotel rooms are simple, but good enough. Location is great, one block from thw main plaza. The only inconvinient is parking lot which the hotel does not have. They offer valet parking, but two time I asked for the service the valet was not there so I had to find a parking spot for myself or wait 20 min for the valet to arrive. Otherwise hotel is great an quiet.

Casa Carmen is one of the best B&B in SMA. I loved my stay there, delicious breakfast and most important, the staff is very helpful, friendly and attentive.
