Hotel Miravalle

This hotel is in the most beautiful and spectacular setting in Tuscany. You can get a 360 view from very close to the hotel. My room was exceptionally clean with an amazing view across the mountains. I found the hotel staff so accommodating and friendly. The restaurant was spectacular. I had the tasting menu and it did not disappoint. I was very tired after a long trek on the Via Francigena and was delighted and extremely impressed with the food and the wine pairings in the restaurant. It was an exceptional culinary experience. Why this hotel and restaurant does not have 5 star reviews I do not understand. Thank you to everyone at the hotel. The most beautiful setting, the friendliest people and excellent food. I will remember this as one of my favourite places.

Great hotel , right in centre of town, yet quiet Traditional place with lovely rooms. Our had stunning hill views and an actual fresco. Great aircon. Staff decent . Breakfast basic but ok. We didn’t eat in restaurant but it looked very busy Definitely stay again

Stayed for one night but wish it had been longer. Large, lovely room with all the amenities and access down the hall to the breakfast room and attached restaurant (gave 5 *). Not really sure what else to say except great location along with thoughtful and efficient staff.

Best thing about this hotel was the restaurant, excellent service and first class food. Unfortunately this didn’t extend to the hotel inside which was such a shame as the location at the top of the hills, the views and outside were superb. Obviously this is a medieval building but with a little effort ie lots more lighting, chairs to sit in instead of having to sit on bed, mirrors on walls, painting, tea and coffee in rooms it could be so much better. Unfortunately we were given a room on floor one which whilst a good size had very hard uncomfortable beds, looked nothing like the website photos and smelled musty. We couldn’t find anywhere to sit in the hotel or get a coffee. I wouldn’t rate it a four star hotel in my experience but we loved SAN Miniato, the excellent location and restaurant

We managed to get a room for one night here during the white truffle festival due to a cancellation. We were in room 210 at the back of the hotel which had a 180 degree view of the valley. It was a lovely big room with a super-king sized double bed, fridge with water in and free safe. Bathroom with toilet, bidet, sink and shower, nice toiletries and towels and a hairdryer. Our main gripe with the room was the lack of light, now I know it’s a historic building so they are probably limited in what they can do electrical wise, however more lamps are needed in the bedroom and bathroom, it was hard to see to read and write, or to apply make-up in the bathroom. Breakfast was included in the price, we were given a list of all the options available and had to tick what we wanted and what time we would go to the restaurant, from 8am to 10am I think it was and hand it in the night before. It feels a little odd having to pre-order breakfast, my vegetable omelette was a little oily and had chunks of carrot in, the cheese was very bland and the toast seemed barely toasted, however it kept us going all morning and the restaurant was an interesting space with modern sculptures. It was a nice experience to stay in such a historic building at the top of the hill and the views are breathtaking, however the lighting was poor and I would prefer somewhere with a balcony rather than just a window.

La camera è gigantesca, addirittura affrescata. Dotazione di accappatoi personali. Posizione centralissima Staff gentile e collaborativo Il bagno (la doccia in particolare) è decisamente ristretta. Nessun paragone con la camera. TV con decoder mancante di istruzioni scritte per l'utilizzo (ho dovuto chiedere alla reception) Un solo paio di ciabattine (eravamo in due...) Nel bagno non erano presenti doccia schiuma e shampoo (le ha recapitate la reception dopo la nostra chiamata)

Hotel in buona posizione con vista panoramica, abbiamo chiesto una tripla e ci hanno dato camera con due stanze, il problema che nella seconda stanza il letto era con un materasso durissimo e molto basso, il bagno vecchio è sporco. Non ci tornerei

Hotel antiguo, bien de limpieza desayuno penoso , estoy empezando a dudar donde regalan las estrellas, faltaba de todo, algún cable roto en el cuarto de baño, en el desayuno por no haber no vinieron ni a reponer. Señores donde consiguen las estrellas

Abbiamo soggiornato due notti in questo albergo dal grande potenziale ma veramente mal gestito. La struttura è molto bella, così come il borgo dove si trova, San Miniato. Il soggiorno però è stato un incubo. La camera molto sporca. All’arrivo ho trovato un fazzoletto sporco sul davanzale, il filtro del bagno con strati incrostati di sporco (allego foto) i muri con animali uccisi spiaccicati, water senza porta rotolo e incrostato di sporco. 4 stelle nemmeno a regalarle. Non da ultimo, con 41 gradi esterni la massima e 32 la minima non ci hanno lasciato accesa l’aria condizionata così che al nostro rientro in camera ci è stato impossibile dormire tranquillamente. Frigobar vuoto e spento. Arredamento camere fatiscente. Basterebbe poco per rendere le camere accoglienti ma occorrerebbe una gestione accorta. Colazione da dimenticare
