So we stayed at this hotel for 5 days in June 2024. We paid more than 550 € just to be upgraded to a superior room, given some comments that we had read. Upon arrival, we were very warmly welcomed by the temporary manager, William, an amazing person who has done everything he could to make our stay “pleasant”. Unfortunately, the state of the hotel didn’t make things easy for him. We were the only guests during alll five days. The hotel has a restaurant with only 3 dishes. On the first night , William cooked us a dinner ( no cook- he was all alone- ) consisting of a piece of meat and rice . That’s all. The hotel will charge us 20€ per person ! No heating in the restaurant, it was ice cold. Breakfast was in no way up to 3* hotel standards. No buffet. A pot of hot water and a pot of instant coffee. Some toast, low quality jam , fruit and eggs on request. Regarding the room, bathtub had no adapted plus so impossible to have a bath. ( William provided us with one on day 4) . Very shabby faucets for bathtub and shower. Water was only warm if we requested to heat it up 3/4 hours in advance. Most of all, heating in the room wasn’t working so with a negative temperature outside at night it was really freezing. Nothing was done about it all through our stay. Also, the hotel is far from the town center, you just can’t get there on foot, so you need either a taxi or your own car. All in all, stay away from this hotel, we are on a round the world trip for 6 months and this is one of the worst hotels we’ve stayed at. Chose any other nice hotel closer to the town center . But we want to thank William for trying so hard to make us feel good. Had it not been for him, we would have given this hotel an even worse appreciation.
