I absolutely loved staying at this beautifully designed B & B in the heart of Sancerre. The young couple who own and operate this B & B are so warm and charming. They both went out of their way to be helpful and kind. The B & B is situated facing the main square, which is ideal. The inside is calm, peaceful and quiet. A lot of thought and attention went into designing this beautiful B & B. My room was inviting and comfortable and the bathroom was modern and efficient. The breakfast was delicious. When friends stopped by to pick me up one day, they all wished they had stayed here as well.

A beautiful property in all aspects. Room was large and well appointed. Our host, Ophilie, was welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding. An amazing location right on the main square of Sancerre. We loved our stay!

La Place is an immaculately clean B&B that is tastefully decorated. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating from extra pillows to recommendations for dinner and wineries. The breakfast was perfect with an assor**ent of fresh and delicious items. The location couldn’t be better; right on the Sancerre Square.

We stayed here as a stopover having travelled from Beziers in the south. We were pleasantly met by Ophelie who speaks great English.
The house is comfortable and tastefully dressed. Our bedroom was equally smart and we had everything we needed including a good night's rest. Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality too. A big well done and congratulations to Ophelie and her husband for a successful year of running their B&B and bringing about a lovely place for guests to stay in charming Sancerre. You will not be disappointed staying here we thoroughly recommend the B&B. Tres Joilie. Paula and David
