We were visiting some family and playing golf in and around the city. The guest house was perfect for our needs. Very spacious rooms and lovely outdoor space. The breakfast was great with lots of variety. The manager and staff were extremely helpful.

Hyde Park Guest house offers exquisite luxury, an oasis in busy Johannesburg, the ideal spot for a short visit or for businessmen, it could also easily be for a long term stay as its homely feel makes it unique. Attentive staff, abundant breakfast choices, beautiful manicured garden, perfect location.

The guest house is located in a nice and save neighborhood, 20 - 30 minutes from the airport. Rooms & bathrooms are big, new, modern and comfortable. The buildings are surrounded by a majestic garden with a swimming pool. For privacy you may also use your own terrace. Malls and shopping options are only a few car minutes a way. The staff is very friendly and always bearing a helping hand. I can highly recommend a stay here :-)

From Los Angeles my fiancé and I attended funeral of my mother. The hospitality , kindness , Ubuntu , care , compassion provided by everyone from the reservation to arrival , during our stay , this 5 star guest house in Hyde Park was our oasis . Hope it will not be a hidden gem in Johannesburg. It felt like home away from home . Ndiyabonga. We WILL be back Thank you very much 🫶🏽💐🥰

We highly recommend this place, it is a quiet resting place in a busy town. The garden is lovely! A great tip is to take a tour with Syps/Sips who guided us on a private tour to Soweto and Johannesburg (Constitution Hill).

Excellent stop over on our month's trip to South Africa and Dubai. We loved the grounds, excellent breakfast to order, delicious breads, relaxing by the lovely pool. The service was friendly and excellent!! Sibbs provided the airport shuttle very efficiently and helped us in our stay immensely.

We thoroughly enjoyed the welcoming Sibs and Elfreda at Hyde Park who helped us during a potential crisis. The room was cosy and well appointed. The breakfast was exceptional and all staff friendly and helpful.

Perfection from check in to departure. Excellent property and very convenient, great location to GIBS activities. The room was modern spacious and spotless. The Staff was very hospitable and helpful. Far exceeded my expectations.

We had a very pleasant stay in the Hyde Park Guest House. The very friendly staff let us keep one of our rooms longer so we could keep our luggage there and change before our flight in the evening. The rooms are very modern, large and comfortable. I can only recommend staying there.
