Huttopia Southern Maine

Our family made so many memories on this trip! We stayed in a tiny house near the lake. The grounds were beautiful, and we enjoyed the on-site activities and dining. It was also a good launching point for day trips to Ogunquit, Kennebunkport, and other local parks and wildlife reserves. We would definitely come back.

I like the vibe huttopia is going for and it’s an absolute family friendly gem, however our hit carpet was extremely dirty, the door didn’t close off completely which let inall the bugs overnight , our tent also had an area the zipper was completely broken which gave more room for allCreatures to comeIn. I stuffed it with a towel to make due . The lighting paths could be better to the huts at night. Love the vibe and what they tried to do , but we will not be going back.

This was a brilliant first glamping experience for our family of five. This is a lovely, welcoming site. We stayed in a gorgeous Canadienne, which was comfortable and well-insulated against the early-morning light. It was super well equipped, and the facilities on the site were great. We loved the pool, the cafe was great and the lake was gorgeous. This is a super location, really close to the coast including beautiful little touristy towns like Kennebunkport.

This was the first time we went to huttopia and we were very pleased. The room was very nice and enough beds to fit my family of five comfortably. The staff are very energetic and nice. They are also very flexible. Breakfast is fresh and delicious, sandwiches and smoothies are definitely will be a must try. We will definitely come back year after year!

Our 1st glamping experience was wonderful. We reserved a Trappeur Duo Queen (#5). We didn’t specifically ask for a handicapped accessible unit, but got one, and it worked very well for us. We were there for 2 nights. While we didn’t participate in everything they offer, can’t say enough positive about the staff or the location. We ate at both the a.m. Cafe and p.m. Bistro and were very pleased with everything we ordered. We had no trouble finding carts, but we were there off season. Can’t recommend them highly enough and have already booked our next stay.

The place is very unsanitary, I watched as they made the crepes with no gloves, one guy was wiping and picking his nose then proceeding to dig his hands into the cheese, the ham and in the fruits, disgusting…..

My wife and I have a 2 and 3 year old traveling with my mother in law for a long weekend to Huttopia. We stayed in a Vista (#13). First I will say our stay was amazing! The one misleading thing was (location) proximity to the lake. We thought we would be right on the lake. In retrospect, our cabin was located pretty close to the lake but not lakeside. We were actually happier in our location as many go to the lake to have fun and laugh... which would have disturbed naptime. So the location ended up working perfectly for us. The Vista had all of the accommodations we needed to keep our kids comfy and fed. The beds were super comfy. Loved that the windows opened two different ways to allow the perfect cross breeze. The kitchen was stocked with enough (pots/pans/plates& utensils). Loved that the sliding doors gave us even more floor space for the kids to play. The staff is beyond amazing! Everyone is super helpful and accommodating. They offered arts and crafts foe the kids and have an amazing place to eat. I recommend the smoothies! What a cool and flavorful treat to beat the heat. They have a small on-site store with things to eat (like supplies for smores... which I forgot). They stock shirts, wine... you name it! They had paddle boards and canoes as well. We didn't use these amenities as our little ones weren't ready for that. The equipment looked to be in pretty good condition but again, we didn't use them. They had plenty of carts in the parking lot for you to use to transport your things to your accommodations. Although I will say the carts got scarce later in the day. Our overall rating is VERY HIGH! We will be going back! WARNING: Vistas do not have AC. I recommend LARGE box fan. We brought two smaller personal fans... thats NOT enough. I hope this helps! Btw, if you forget something and Huttopia doesn't have it... Walmart is VERY close by! The box fans were around $20-$25... WORTH IT!!! We got 1 for each room.

My family stayed here during 4th of July weekend, and we couldn't be happier with the experience from beginning to end. We stayed in a Trappeur tent nestled in the pine forest, and although there were a number of other tents nearby, they were arranged in such a way that we felt surrounded by nature and maintained a sense of privacy. We initially were assigned to a cabin that didn't have a mini-fridge, and when I mentioned this to the staff, they were profusely apologetic, and helped us move into another cabin. The manager let my children ride on her golf cart (a big hit) as she drove over to help us move our luggage. They continued to apologize the next morning, and gave us complimentary breakfast. Speaking of food, everything we ate at the lodge was delicious, from chocolate hazelnut crepes in the morning to brick oven pizza in the evening. There are a host of activities for families, and my kids happily played foosball, ping pong, volleyball, and an assor**ent of board games, when they weren't splashing around the pool or building a campfire. This was an amazing way to connect as a family away from screens, and enjoy some time in nature, without having to sacrifice on the "necessities", such as my morning latte, a modern and luxurious shower, and duvet bedspreads. We will return at the first opportunity!
