W Ibiza

The hotel is located in the more relax and quiet area. Good for families to enjoy. Their breakfast is very good quality and lots of options. Service team are attentive and friendly. We got a basic room which didn’t really a good view but it doesn’t matter too much if you spend more time by the pool or the beach.

So...this is tough. First, to get out of way: the staff and customer service/communication was SUPERB during the stay. (during, the key word). Also: in late July 2021, I spent 3+ days here with 6 different couples there to celebrate my 40th (under one of their names for reservation), and despite covid/restrictions, it was MARVELOUS. So good...that I ended a week long stay in ibiza - 4 nights at a wedding based site 7Pines on other side of island and did 2 nights here solo to..."recover" before carrying on with rest of my trip. This was a combo of bad luck on my part with weather but also some real big failures on mgmt: - summer '21 -- best things were pool (which I thought was heated) down and more importantly, the roof pool. that pool, its views, the food/drink were spectacular and I kept thinking about it and why I stayed there. well, when I checked in, a few things: - theres no email anywhere on the website but I messaged their Facebook, Marriott cust service, and then their own concierge email from 2 weeks prior that I needed to make it 2 nights instead of 3 which was booked 4-5 months in advance. no biggie, but they didnt do that and I had to "prove it" and I did and they happily obliged...again, the staff is great. - they informed me that: roof pool entire area closed until further notice, the main restaurant facing water - chiringito blue I had dinner at last time - closed until further notice...wow, bummer. I dont remember anywhere on site saying this and it should be in bold. - Room: was super happy and grateful they gave me a corner room which was large and had an awesome view of the ocean overlooking pool...but what a weird layout. the bed was this big thing but no night stands and how do u handle drinks or anything? weird design flaw but view was marvelous - then...and if you have anything against or prone to mosquitoes, im from Dallas and get bit maybe 1-2 a summer, I laughably take pride about this compared to my sis who has that blood type. Well, somehow, via balcony, about 20 of the most horrific, aggressive, vicious mosquitoes stalked me through my two night stay and I was bit ...40-50 times. im not kidding. both my entire legs, waist, arms, butt...I ended up going crazy killing them all over room - blood spattering from them (grosssssss). all I wanted to do wzd\ s relax from the crazy wedding hangover and this became a nightmare. AGAIN, this could be bc it was end of May and they had rare showers - BUT THEN WARN GUESTS. Tell them or give bug spray. I hate complaining but this was crazy. these mosquitoes seemed turnt up and they kept showing up. So check forecasts....I have zero recollection of mosquitoes from first visit. In conclusion, first visit - 5 stars all around ...this visit - 2 stars. bc it ******. I couldn't wait to leave and had PTSD (lol!) of mosquitoes rest of my trip. I have the scars now of me scratching so much. If/when I go back to ibiza - would I stay here again? As a plati

From the moment we pulled up to the hotel we were treated like we were in the only guests, the ambassadors, the ladies on reception, the restaurant staff and concierge the whole team were incredible and the W group should be extremely proud of the staff in Ibiza.

The cleaners stole money from our bed side table and my sunglasses. We informed the manager and nothing was done about it. Such a bad experience. I will never come back

Being a return guest in October for the down season I was very pleased once again by the esthetics of this hotel. On the surface the staff are also very helpful. However the lack of loyalty appreciation and empathy surrounding a specific incident unfortunately ruined the experience for me on this stay. I brought a guest who racked up $500+ in spa charges which I had no idea about, once I found out about this I explained in detail to the font desk, acknowledge the existing charges and pleaded with them to cancel the future booked sessions. They simply told me that I had missed the cancelation window and had to pay for all future sessions, despite being taken advantage of. I immediately removed the guest from my reservation, and followed up with the hotel management after the stay. Once again I was told sorry but you're out of luck, even when asking for simple empathy or a few Bonvoy points. I don't expect too much special treatment for being Titanium however some more empathy would have been nice. The responses felt so out of touch that it almost felt like a language barrier. Next summer I'll probably stay at the Riomar down the street and simply come for a drink by the pool instead. The Riomar was excellent.

This was my first time to Ibiza and I was looking for a hotel that would give me the White Island vibe whilst being modern, fresh and luxurious feel. W Ibiza didn’t disappoint… the hotel staff were excellent and a very energetic young team. The breakfast was really good with a great selection on the buffet and an egg a la cart menu. The pool on the ground level and roof were both really good. DJs playing throughout the day and night but no banging music it was more melodic music which kept the feet tapping. The staff at all the bars were very good and provided a personnel experience. The cocktails were exceptional and Paulo is a master at work in his mixology field. Josh and Jose were also great hosts and providing their own personnel touches to custom cocktails. It’s these little touches which make a big difference. The hotel is right on the sea front promenade so you have plenty of walking areas and easily connected to the Marina. I never had to wait more than a few minutes for a taxi to head to other areas in the island so it’s very well connected. The only downside for the trip was a pump was broken in the room and an extremely loud and annoying noise was coming out of the aircon system all day and all night. This was fixed on day four but it was loud enough to wake you up which wasn’t good.

My stay at W was so amazing, it's motivated me to write my first TripAdvisor review! What a great hotel - great location, amazing design and interiors, fantastic staff. I really loved the breakfasts with a nice buffet and a comprehensive à la carte menu. I ended up ordering eggs benedict every day because the poached eggs were perfect. Staff were professional and motivated. Special thanks to Claudio, Enrique, Pau, and Inés. Also to Raquel - the senior manager who doubled up as the best driver 🙂. It says something about how happy the staff are when the breakfast chefs are sining to themselves as they plate up during a busy service. Room design is amazing, W is super stylish with nice areas for a flop or a drink. Five stars all round, just super.

Let me start by saying beautiful hotel..the design and layout is A1 but that's not the only thing that makes Marriott Hotel one of the bast hotel chains...its customers service, its the hospitality...and at times that was lacking...one of the front desk Clerks got rude with me ...and Im platinum elite status...but forget status you just don't talk to people like the especially your hotel guests...
