Nous avions passé un excellent séjour, le service est au top, les personnes qui y travaillent sont trop sympa. L’hôtel lui est magnifique, moderne et spacieux et la chambre avec vu sur mer est tout simplement splendide.

I wanted to go over some of the reviews others made and address some feedback based on me being a Melia Ibiza (Sol Beach House) repeat-regular going back to 2016 not long after it first opened. Someone said it's like a 'brand new hotel'. It isn't. I was expecting a full refurb, but many areas have been left completely untouched. Anyone who was a Sol Beach House regular would notice it's mostly the same as before, on the whole. Both main pool areas are identical. Luckily the hotel is far more proactive in stopping people reserving sunbeds, so there was plenty of beds through the day and no stress about having a late breakfast and then meandering to the pool. The rooftop area is for Level users only. But this is exactly how it use to be when Sol Beach House first opened! In those days the rooftop was for Xtra room users (and the Xtra rooms were in the new part of the hotel). So all that's happened is the hotel has gone back to the original plan, albeit now called Level rather than Xtra. Rooms. The Xtra (now Level) rooms have barely changed. I was genuinely surprised to see note that as I still think some of the grouting in the showers needs redoing. So you get the same room, same floor tiles, same shower, same sinks and same balcony furniture. The bed mattress was replaced and two new chairs in the Level rooms. The rooms in the older part of the hotel have had the biggest refurb. However, they still appear to have the ageing LG TVs which were in Sol Beach House and use the old showers - so some parts haven't been refurbished. Some main areas have had a minor refurb. I liked the comfy new sofas in the ground floor bar area, but the lifts were comically the same as the original ones back in the days of before Sol Beach House opened in 2015, so they really look so tatty. I have no idea why the lifts were left looking that tatty! Luckily all the common areas have new flooring - see my photos. Gym is now on -1 and an old meeting room area. It's huge, but it has all the old kit from the old gym, plus a bunch of well used spin bikes. And it's very warm in there, too. Look at my photos - the DBs still only go upto 14kg. This was the biggest disappointment as the hotel told me they were investing in new gym kit as part of the refurb! Main restaurant almost 1:1 with how it was before. This part confused me after reading all the other reviews as everyone pointed out how the breakfast area was not well looked after. It was no different from how it was in Sol Beach House. Same breakfast. Wasn't too busy and there were plenty of people clearing plates. The Level. This is the main refurb. Level customers now get their own dedicated space (which was part of the old meeting rooms), their own breakfast area, which then turns into an all-day snacks (free drinks, too) area for the rest of the day. This part is a genuine upgrade, looks good and is worth considering moving upto Level as it's a really good space. The Level also has a separate reception, too. A

We have stayed in quite a few Melia’s but this one is by far the best we have been too. We had a level room on the 3rd floor and it was stunning. We could hear the sea lapping the shore and the view over the sea was beautiful. A daybed on the balcony really matters to us and this one was fab. Room was immaculate, stylish and well equipped. Nice big comfy bed too. Level service was great and the stylish lobby and terrace were a great place to sit with drinks at the start and end of the day. Rooftop pool also has amazing views, good service and lots of space. Breakfast service was good. Would maybe be nice to have access to a few more nibbles etc during the day to go with drinks but a small point. It was my husbands 50th bday whilst we were away and management acknowledged this in a lovely way. We loved it and will definitely be back as soon as we can. Thanks to all the team for an amazing week

The hotel itself has had a total refit and is as good as a new hotel. The bars and restaurants were really well presented and the staff, who are a benefit to the company, were very friendly and helpful. We checked in at the “Level” lounge. This gave us access to the rooftop pool during the day and beer and wine in the lounge. The lounge gave you an exclusive breakfast experience with the staff happy to fresh make omelettes and coffee, special mention goes to the staff on duty during this time as there was never anything they couldn’t do for you. Between 5-6pm the lounge offered a range of spirits for you to enjoy as well as tapas all were very good and well worth going back for. I used the gym most days, however, much of the cardio machines were not working, they clearly moved the machines to a new area and they were yet to be setup correctly. However, the weight machines were more than adequate and I’m sure this will be rectified, especially as we came to the hotel in their second week of opening. The rooftop pool was awesome, and the staff friendly and accommodating they served drinks, cocktails and food to the level staff between 10am and 6pm when it opens to all. Our room was a level room, with a sea view. It came with tea and coffee facilities, a mini bar, flat screen TV, bath, shower room and a separate toilet. It was clean and kept spotless by the cleaning team. There was also a machine to steam press your clothes, which is really useful when unpacking. We had water in cans every evening, which was a really nice touch. Melia continue to be our favourite Hotel chain, with dedicated staff and beautiful hotels and the points on offer is a really nice touch. We would love to name all those that helped us, however, we can’t so special thanks to the: Cleaning team, bar staff, check in staff both in the level and main reception, lifeguards, serving staff at breakfast and all the level team who made our stay very special.

Lovely hotel as in decor etc but when it comes to customer service they have no idea what that means. If you are staying as half board basis, be prepared for your evening to be totally taken up with just trying to get a table and a meal. We counted 11 tables with approx 35 customers and they consider this as full, which in turn means a 1 hour wait for a table after you get a table then if you are lucky it will be only 2 hours from being seated to leaving for a simple 3 course meal from a very short menu. I suggest they go in to the local town and see how professional restaurants make a customer experience fulfilling, from a much more extensive menu and without making you feel like you are being held hostage. The really sad thing about this is there are no apologies and they genuinely think they are doing a good job. Exasperated doesn’t cover it.

This is a lovely looking hotel, beautiful setting and the rooms are good. The restaurant service for the evening meal is however truly dreadful. A complete inability to serve customers. They can’t provide you with a place in the restaurant when it is only two thirds to three quarters. The places at the tables aren’t the issue, it is the inability of the staff to provide anything approaching a meaningful service. We had to wait almost an hour to be seated after being told we had to wait 15 minutes. The food is poor quality as well. We have stayed at Melia hotels in Torremolinos and Puerto Banus previously, both had excellent restaurants with lovely, helpful, knowledgeable staff and we would stay there again. This however is terrible and we regret booking this.

Staff are very unhelpful, no Concierge when we checked in told just go floor 3, non of the hotel facilities were explained to us, feel like a inconvenience to staff. Arrived late so had room service £22 for a sandwich. Was supposed to have dressing gown and slippers in room but non supplied. Roof bar closed, no entertainment at all in hotel. Two days pool area taken over by conference guests, taking pictures and walking around sun beds also smoking (in non smoking hotel) that are better taken care off than paying guests, can’t even get to bar. Got keep asking for things. Very dark walk way through forest when leaving hotel ( not suitable for disabled guests) hot tub is cold tub. All tv channels German. Spent most of time away from hotel which we don't usually do as I'm disabled, even hired a car as forest is hard work. Hotel is trying to be something it's no achieving, wants to be high end but got start with good staff, beautiful hotel deco wise but not welcoming at all. Just seen other guests complaining of conference people using hotel so guests not happy that 150 people are walking around the pool area when relaxing.

Our 1st time at this hotel and overall we enjoyed it very much. From reading other reviews everyone seems to have mixed experiences here. Like everywhere you stay I suppose. So taking that into consideration I like to be as fair as I can when writing reviews, whilst sharing our own experience. Loved the relaxed vibes including the piped music around the hotel, even the live music (cellist and violinist during breakfast on 2 occasions during our 11 night stay, and DJ on 2 occasions on the roof top terrace, but I think live entertainment in the hotel a few evenings would have been appreciated. The decor (although yes a little tired in places mainly corridor floors and sunbeds) is just beautiful. I loved the little dog in its kennel on the doorstep! (Not real of course) Our favourite spot was the rooftop terrace. Views stunning and never overcrowded. Breakfast: Great selection of food and drinks, and made to order fried eggs or omelettes was a nice touch. Toasters very slow. Our room 042 was a Xtra Beach House on floor zero. Stunning views out to sea from our large balcony with lovely day bed, and watching the sunrise was such a treat. The room was very spacious, always clean, with a fantastic size shower ( powerful and plenty of hot water). Good hairdryer and plenty of mirrors, huge, very comfortable bed and pillows too. Now our only couple of gripes: When it rained our room floor flooded (on 2 occasions)! The emergency exit door was opposite our room door, so the water flowed under it and into ours! Waking up in the middle of the night wading through water was very alarming! When we reported it to reception there was no apology or explanation from the girl at reception, but it was dealt with quickly each time. (It was eventually explained by our cleaner.) And last complaint was the peace and privacy on our balcony, ruined by the local dog walkers who constantly gathered on hotel grounds and benches under our room, particularly in the early evenings, when we liked to sit out and enjoy the sunsets. The dogs barking and people chatting loudly and staring up, was a real invasion of our privacy. So perhaps a room on the upper floors (which we did request) but is luck of the draw, would avoid this.

I was here in August 2023 with Frieda for a friend’s birthday. The hotel is incredibly stunning, spectacular with excellent service. Andrea really went the extra mile. My room was sea view so I had a direct view of the sea which was out of this world! Food was delicious & so much of a variety. I thoroughly enjoyed my time, experience and would book again & highly recommend this hotel! The surrounding areas are lovely with lots to view and lovely restaurants and places to shop.
